“Documents: Karl Rove Gave Grover Norquist $26 Million in 2012”

The ruling class vs. the rest of us.  Doesn’t really matter if they wear a flag lapel pin and call themselves Republicans or not:  the GOP establishment is run by corporatist interests, which is why, for instance — though the American people are fundamentally against amnesty — the GOP leadership is working with the Democrats to get “comprehensive immigration reform” passed.    The Dems get voters; the Dem tech billionaires get cheap visa labor and an attendant population of servants, arborists, nannies, pool cleaners, roofers, and porch builders; the GOP gets lobbying money from their corporatist clients.

And we, the People, get the shaft, as wages plummet and jobs dry up, and more and more of us live in debt to college loans and dependent on the State.

It’s time to clean house entirely.  Nuke it from orbit.  It’s the only way to be sure.

(h/t Mark Levin)

    My idea of “immigration reform”:

    1. Start enforcing the laws we already have.
    2. Build the fucking fence, already. (See Step #1.)

If that doesn’t do it, give the ranchers along the border a rifle and a shovel.

I have nothing against people wanting to come here to make a better life for themselves and their family, but if you come here, you’d better come in through the front door, and sign the guest book on the way in. If you sneak in the basement window, the Dobermans will be shitting you out for days.

Tourism Visas need to be followed up on. Visa expired? You’re outta here.

  4. McGehee says:

Visas should consist of an RFID chip so that when the visa expires they start setting off alarms everywhere they go.

  5. leigh says:

Yes, they should. I’ve met people who came here 25 years ago on tourist Visas and just stayed.

How ’bout we start by eliminating the Visa Waiver program, and require everyone entering the country to have a valid visa in the first place?

In addition, to get an entry visa, you should:

    1. Have a valid, clearly defined reason for entering the United States in the first place. And no, “tourism” shouldn’t count.

    2. Pass an extensive security background check

    3. Post a return bond.

    4. Have a specific named sponsor for the duration of time spent in the United States. If you don’t leave before the visa expires, said sponsor will be held civilly and criminally liable.

    I think that’d do for a start…
