Tom McClintock sees the coup the GOP’s more “nuanced” opinion-drivers will not

— Or if they do, they don’t much mind.

Words can’t begin to express my disgust with those people who would rather play the game of politics than defend the principles of liberty and the sanctity of the Constitution.

I won’t live as a subject. So if I’m forced to, I plan to make some of those who forced us into accepting such a fate my own personal prison bitches.

Call it a teachable moment.

Yesterday in Washington, a group of America’s veterans rose up to take a stand against these unconstitutional usurpations. I believe the salvation of our nation now ultimately depends on the American people joining them.

    No truer words.

What the people do can make a mockery of the deficient thinkers who proclaim the preordained, or confirm their limited vision of life. Either way, the outcome is not decided.

Saul Alinsky knew how this works [Bullet the first: “Power is not only what you have, but what the enemy thinks you have.”] and we see his vision embodied in Jennifer Rubin, Pete Wehner and so on in the rest of the ranks of the capitulationists.

  2. We’re saved! But at what cost?

Reminds me of a Monty Python animation.

  3. mondamay says:

    Monty Python?

Very appropriate. The GOP wouldn’t “voom” if you put 4 million volts through it. This is an ex-party.

“[T]hose people” that you mentioned, are too busy trying to disassociate themselves from the base that the cool gurls at D.C. High like to make fun of.

All in the hopes that by doing so, they’ll get invited to Harry Reid’s pajama party.

  6. If you have a Boehner that lasts for more than four hours, seek immediate Democrat attention.

I hope this isn’t a trend wherein he starts turning most of Kentucky into the Mitch McConnell Bridge, the Mitch McConnell Thruway, etc. Kind of like the Grand Dragon of the Senate did to West Virginia.

    I’m very conflicted about this.

One part of me wanted to see you rip the sarcophagus lid off and summon your Plan for America into full view, so that the American people could get a good look and decide they were done with you wacko birds once and for all. But that would have resulted in real and lasting damage that you would have all whined was the Democrats fault, and that would have annoyed the shit out of me.

The other part of me is happy to see your ideas flashed at the public, as the botched boob job they are, upon which the public has quickly recoiled. But it leaves you to fight another day.

But the great thing about you hobbits is that you truly don’t learn. So in a few months you’ll be back with exactly the same, “Give me what I want and I shoot the hostage,” demands.
