“No Washington Exemption: Equal Treatment for All”

Sign the petition.  We aren’t supposed to have a king and a court.  We’re supposed to own the government; instead, the government acts like our pimp, demanding we go out and earn to subsidize its velvet-lined Cadillac and fur cape.

Your political affiliation shouldn’t make a damn bit a difference here.  “Progressives” who go on constantly about “fairness” — and yet who back a law that is fundamentally inequitable, at least as it’s now being implemented — need to prove their fidelity to their espoused principles.  As well, Republicans who claim they want ObamaCare repealed should announce that they refuse to take subsidies from the taxpayer to pay for their health care unless and until they can prevent the taxpayers from being forced into these exchanges (and, eventually, as Harry Reid noted openly, into a single-payer government plan; that is, socialized medicine).

Or else they can all sod off.

Privilege has always been an irritant for me.

    Signed.

I had a discussion recently with a Prog who had no problem with the Congressional exemption. Her stated reason was “brain drain.” My response? “So smart people know that O-care is a piece of shit.”

  4. Squid says:

    My response?

Your response should have been a swift whack with a rolled-up newspaper. I suppose I should admire your restraint.

  5. McGehee says:

Rhetorically, Shermlaw’s response was a swift whack with a rolled-up newspaper.

  6. McGehee says:

But not literally. Or at least, not literally literally.

    Sir, petition signed, sir!

Gotta practice up on this whole “following orders” thing, don’tcha know… it’s going to come in handy in America 2.0.

  9. Golem14 says:

I asked the guy at McBrides other than 12 gauge vs. 20 gauge what’s the difference between a Benelli M2 and a Mossberg Sa-20 tactical.

he said “Other than the 20/12 gauge thing? About $800.”

Which is a powerful sales argument. If I can find a decent red dot and 9+1 magazine extension that is legal (the Mossberg is an import so the magazine extender must be USA made to be legal) then I just might get it.

He knows he can sell all the Benillis he can get, so he has no worries.
