The power of the Left’s narrative [Darleen Click]

From Pravda media to academia to the Obama Administration’s minions, I’m not surprised

Half of all voters consider radical Muslims the bigger terrorist threat facing the nation, but supporters of President Obama consider the Tea Party to be as big a danger.

A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that 51% of Likely U.S. Voters consider radical Muslims to be the bigger threat to the United States today. Thirteen percent (13%) view the Tea Party that way, and another 13% consider other political and religious extremists to be the larger danger. Six percent (6%) point to local militia groups. Two percent (2%) see the Occupy Wall Street movement as the bigger terrorist threat.

Not ONE, not even one violent or property damaging incident can be connected with any of the myriad of TEA Party groups across the country. On the other hand, Occupy legacy has been rape, vandalism, assault and property damage into the millions of dollars.

So remember, Hobbits and whacko-birds, language does matter.

Let’s not over-advertise the fact that we’re decent, peaceful, law-abiding patriots. If the Left wants to believe that we’re dangerous terrorists, I say we let them. The only thing they respect is strength, and the only way they’ll ever stop their war against us is if they fear us too much to stand up to us any more.

Embrace the terrorist label, Hobbits! Make the sheeplings fear you!

I have to say I was sorta amused at the reports before the DOMA announcement regarding possible violence if the SCOTUS decision went bad for the gays.

Because they might riot and become violent.

I just laughed and laughed at that image.

  3. Car in says:

I sure it would have been a fabulous riot, though.

Simple enough that even a moron or a progressive can understand it. But I repeat myself.

But the Left doesn’t actually believe that. For that matter, I don’t think they’d be trying to conciliate us if they did. What the Left wants is for other people (i.e. “moderates” and “lo-info voters”) to believe that we’re dangerous terrorists, and for the same reasons that they say we need to understand and conciliate those who hate us (like, say, terrorists); because it’s politically advantageous for them to do so.

That should have been blockquoted, not struck-thourgh obviously. Sorry.

This is because every terrorist attack, foiled terrorist plot, and random crazy-person shooting (Aurora, Newtown, Giffords) has been initially attributed to the Tea Party by the Tea Party and Lefty politicians. Bomb found in Times Square? Bloomberg speculates it’s a statement on the pending Obamacare. Giffords shot? Must be Tea Party enthusiast Sarah Palin’s fault. And on and on.

Face it, the narrative has been built so that in every future act of violence people will immediately wonder: is this another Tea Party attack?

  9. Patrick Chester says:

    Demonization by cowards, essentially.

If they confronted people they knew would respond with violence, they might get hurt.
