The incredible shrinking recovery

GDP down in 4th quarter. Time is running out. Now, far be it for me to presume head coaching responsibilities. Still, that having been said, maybe we should consider abandoning the running game at this point.

Is all I’m saying.

I call bullshit this report is completely ignoring the food stamp multiplier effects

I’m not sure what you’re getting at, Jeff.

The conservative stalwarts of NRO just had a significant confab discussing the dangers of conservatism. I’m sure the conference came up with a plan to deal with the problems created by conservatives, and, by extension, the problems facing the nation.

  5. OT? Cabela’s website doesn’t even list .223 or 5.56 ammunition any longer. If I was being generous I’d say it might be because they are out of it and can’t reliably predict when they will get more. On the other hand, they have plenty of Russian made 5.56 rounds in their local store. (FWIW, my range won’t let you fire the Russian made 5.56 saying it is dangerous and has caused too many problems.) Cabela’s still lists .223 semi-automatic rifles, but you can’t buy them online. Good luck finding one of those in their stores.

There are cash-strapped governments and there are broke governments. And then there’s Zimbabwe, which, after paying last week’s government salaries, has just $217 left in the bank.

And then there’s the United States of America, which, even if it found $16,490,000,000,000 today, would still have less than Zimbabwe.

I got chatting with the guy working the gun counter at the friendly local hardware store on Monday and he mentioned that they’re suppliers are telling them it’s going to four to nine months before there’s any inventory in the supply chain again. So it’s okay to be generous.

U.S. Economy Unexpectedly Contracts in Fourth Quarter

    ” Unexpectedly” oh please.

Living is easy with eyes closed, misunderstanding all you see.
It’s getting hard to be someone but it all works out,
What difference at this point does it make?

charles, the one in Allen TX (North Dallas) still had some, even though the prices were eye-watering.

My range doesn’t like the Russian made, although they were a little more honest: most of it comes in non-brass cases which aren’t reloadable, and the range membership contract says all spent brass is their property (normal for most ranges) which they can clean up and sell to reloaders.
