Fake but accurate!

MOST TRANSPARENT ADMINISTRATION EVER SHOCKER:  At least 2 “Republican Women for Obama” featured in campaign ad are actually registered Democrats and progressive activists; actual  Republican women for Obama hardest hit.

— Or at least they would be, were such a creature to exist anywhere in nature.  Which they don’t.  As anybody with a lick of sense knows.

Pro tip: if you want to camouflage yourself as a Republican woman, it’s probably best to remove the “Ethical Reporters Against Faux News” and “Obama Truth Squad” badges from your visible Facebook favorites.

You’re welcome.

I told him he should have taken those moon rocks back. The moon don’t fool around. It will hunt you like the mummy and get you one day.

I’m sorry he had to watch us flush the shuttle program down the toilet.

RIP Neil Armstrong. I remember watching him on the teevee. Exciting times, those were.

  7. leigh says:

I saw that, nr. At least they changed it right away.

The guy who vocied Herry Monster, Snuphaluphagus, The count, and a lot of the ‘not-as famous’ supporting muppets died last night. Jerry Nelson was 78.

I know he’s not an astronaut much less the first to walk on the moon, but I was still very sad to hear about it.

If I were still six years old, I’d hope that he’s being welcomed with a nice celestial egg creme on the house with Mr. Hooper (Will Lee), Bob McGrath, Gordon (Matt Robinson), David (Northern Calloway), Olivia (Alaina Reed) and Jim Henson in his many guises .

I was too old for Sesame Street when it came out and all three of my kids hated it.

Apollo 11 took off on my birthday. I can remember being glued to the tv that week.

I got into a debate on Facedouche last week (over the Akin stuff) and the one woman tried to argue that she was a registered Republican. @@. Claimed that republicans promote a “rape culture.”

Yea, but she’s a Republican fighting the power, you see.

  12. Darleen says:

70% of Obama’s Twitter followers are fake, too.

I hope you didn’t embarrass Abe, Car.

    OT: Security warning.

If someone adds a new e-mail address to your PayPal account, only that e-mail address gets notified. Your other e-mail addys get nothing.

Someone hacked my mom’s PayPal account (probably a keylogger or other way to intercept her password) and added his e-mail address to her account, then made an online purchase. She only discovered it after seeing the charge on her credit card account.

She’s cancelled her account, and I sent an E-mail Of Incredulity to PayPal. I’ll also be telling our security researcher at work, who can get the word out a bit better.

(I tested the thing by adding one of my other e-mail accounts to my PayPal account [you can add up to 5] and sure enough, the new e-mail addy got notified that an e-mail addy was added to the account, but the original account got bupkis.)

Man, what a gaping hole in security! If my mom can tell exactly why it’s a rotten idea…

OT; a micro-review of 2016: Obama’s America that I just watched. A pretty complete story of his life story and familial foundations that I pretty much knew already, but no mention at all of the powerful far-Left infrastructures that propelled him to power. No mention either of Cloward-Piven, and I really wanted to hear some mention of that.

As everyone left, there was grave, theatrical silence.

  16. @PurpAv says:

This needs to be in a Romney PAC ad…or maybe even an official Romney campaign ad.

    “Desperation”

“If Obama needs to trot out Democrats to masquerade as fake Republicans, what sort of other cons is he running on YOU. Think about it.”

  17. @PurpAv says:

one woman tried to argue that she was a registered Republican

Whenever you hear “I’ve been a lifelong republican, BUT blah, blah, blah” its a stone cold lie. EVERY. TIME.

Great Moments in Butthurt: Former Gov. Charlie Crist: Here’s why I’m backing Barack Obama

President Obama has a strong record of doing what is best for America and Florida, and he built it by spending more time worrying about what his decisions would mean for the people than for his political fortunes. That’s what makes him the right leader for our times, and that’s why I’m proud to stand with him today.

  20. Libby says:

Tell us again how the Democrat party is the party that respects women when it enlists Democrat women to lie in a national campaign advertisement? And has anyone from OFA lifted a finger to defend these women no that their cover is blown? Use ’em then lose em.

Great Moments in Butthurt: Former Gov. Charlie Crist: Here’s why I’m backing Barack Obama

Weren’t we told by the establishment we needed to get behind this guy?

    Wasn’t he Chris Christie’s choice?

    Paging Ann Coulter…

  22. Pablo says:

It’s for their own good, Libby.

  23. sdferr says:

Ambulance chaser Crist makes an example less about himself, I think, than he does about the descent of the republican party to utter abandonment of Republicanism as such.

  24. Libby says:

Re: Charlie Crist – There’s just no shortage of moderate Republicans willing to smear their own party for the onslaught of MSM love, is there? You’d think they’d look at how well this has worked out for McCain, Frum, Nicole Wallace, etc. and realize they’re only useful idiots. And how about their children – Meghan McCain, Abby Huntsman – getting in on the act, too.

    Isn’t “ethical reporter” an oxymoron?

  26. […] Okay, so because a media outlet on the left acts shady, it is gospel truth that a media outlet on the right (seriously, read some of the studies–”on the right” just means “not a leftist hack”) must have acted shady in just the same way.  Projection much?  In my world, you can’t accuse people or organizations of things without evidence, but to the leftist crowd, well, evidence doesn’t matter because “fake but accurate” is a real category for facts they want to believe.
