Steven Hayward, Powerline, on the Ford Foundation’s charitable giving meant to prop up liberal media outlets like the LA Times and now the WaPo:
I’m delighted that the Ford Foundation is stepping in to shore up the nearly bankrupt legacy news media. (I think Dan Rather may be available cheap, by the way.) How long until they start shoring up failing public employee union pension plans? I doubt even Ford and Rockefeller together have enough assets to try that. But I invite them to try.
I wonder if it’s starting to dawn on the New Left that, once the people begin to awake from their torpor, “progressives” are mightily outnumbered — and regulatory effectiveness loses some its teeth when people decide en mass to ignore the paper tigers nipping so impotently at their ankles…?

Well it’s obvious what they’ll do, they’ll turn to their new civilian force that’s just as strong and well armed as the military to enforce their “transformation”. If they can… They forget, we’re the ones who are well armed.
Yeah. It’ll look like #Occupy Chalk Outline.
– Media bias?….What media bias?
– I just hope I live long enough to see most of these sumbitches out of business.
Whats cool about the suburbs and exurbs is that they have the guns and they surround the urban core.
