“Romney-Obama debate formats set: But they matter less this time”

Andrew Malcolm offers his reasons.

Mine are simple:  We already know who Obama is and what he stands for.  Those who don’t know by now are frankly too stupid or too delusional to reach.  So either you like where he’s taking the country or you’re, you know, sane.  And American.

OT, but Dax Shephard from movie “Hit and Run” just said “To hell with Nebraska” on “The View” (don’t ask) because they haven’t embraced gay marriage. His fiancee, Kristin Bell, also in that movie, echoed his sentiments. So, if you’re from Nebraska or anywhere else in flyover country, you may want to wait for the dvd.

They both naively believe that if California will support gay marriage, then the rest of the nation will follow California’s lead.

But his economic plans are working!

Nothing was learned from the primary geek shows? All 4 at universities or colleges. No mention of the moderators yet, though the overall format shouldn’t have been agreed to without their specification (Charlie Rose? Gwen Ifill? George Stephanopolous? David Plouffe?) A town-hall style debate with questions from ‘undecideds’. Who is selecting them?

Too bad, because The Champ has a glass jaw without TOTUS.

No worries. The proper moderator can soft pitch Three Putt questions he can handle.

These debates are just a payment in kind from the Democrats to the Media and a prime time ad placement for the Republicans.

  6. motionview says:

Gov Romney, with deficits racked up under Democrat and Republican Administrations and Houses, are you and the GOP Freshmen TEA Partiers finally willing to accept ten dollars in spending cuts for every one dollar in tax increases?
Mr. President, how should we invest any increased revenues coming from a return to the Clinton era tax levels, assuming they lead to a repeat of his great job growth record and budget surpluses?

  7. McGehee says:

“Me. President, when were you going to let the country in on the prank? Just because nearly half still haven’t figured it out is no justification for continuing to torture people who actually had faith in you.”

I, for one, can’t wait to see the dog-eating dipshit get his ass handed to him. People have been underestimating Romney from the beginning.

  9. BigBangHunter says:

    – I don’t know. Romney is still a puzzle in many ways. Right now for instance, riding on a number of weeks of steady gain against Obanadick, he seems to be stepping on his weiner in Britain right and left.

The government in the UK is more left than ours. Expressing a concern about safety at the Olympics shouldn’t have a bunch of grown men getting their knickers in a twist.

I’m more interested in his visits to Israel and Poland. He and Bibi are old buddies (since 1975) and I’m sure the Poles would like some attention from the US.

Judging from what I am seeing and hearing from leftie sites and friends, Obama is apparently starting the meme that he is actually more Republican than Romney.

Seems his healthcare plan was actually a Republican idea, his awesome foreign policy has been basically Republican, and TARP/Stimulus/Wall St and auto bailouts are all just Republican corporate welfare.

    I can’t wait.

I’ll pop the corn, B Moe.
