On Thursday, MSNBC’s Al Sharpton took the race card to a whole new level by falsely claiming Republicans are like Hitler, and are prepared to kill African-Americans en masse.
“It seems like they [Republicans] act as though, some wiping out of people, some of the right-wing, is all right, it’s not all right to do to any innocent people. If you had war and people that’s one thing, but to wipe out innocent people just because of who they are like what was done in Hitler’s Germany or what was done to Native Americans is not justifiable,” he said.
“You know but Rev, I think and what is similar to Hitler’s Germany is that Hitler did not believe those people to be human,” New York Amsterdam News publisher Elinor Tatum said in response.
After Sharpton agreed, Tatum continued: “They believed them to be subhuman and that’s I think the same thing we think people are thinking here is that you know why would they even care about them because they’re not human. And that’s how we’re [Blacks] being looked at and that’s what the scariest part of this whole thing is.”
Let me ask Judge Vaughey: would this be considered “INCITEMENT”?

I predicted back in 2008 that an Obama presidency would set race relations back 100 years in this country. And in fact, that such a social unraveling was by design: the left, after all, needs its divisions, else how would it effectively engage in wedge politics?

I’m really perplexed by this attitude of the Rev’s. Quite frankly, since my town is comprised of white folks and Indians, I can’t remember the last time I gave a thought to the “plight” of black folks. Likewise, I can’t remember the last time someone suggested a cross-burning or a lynching—ever. I guess I’ve led a sheltered life.

I was reading the comments on a blog post about George Zimmerman and the commentors were probably about half black and half white, at least that’s how they identified themselves. The blacks, almost to a one, seem to be speaking from a script about whites keeping them down, unfairly imprisoning them, that they were owed reparations for slavery, all white people are hatey crackers what hate, etc.
In general, the whites were also on a script of get over it, you were never a slave. Stop acting like a thug and you won’t get treated like one. Get an education. Stop blaming others for your own failures. A few blacks chimed in with a “nobody ever gave me nothin’ and I’m a fabulous success story. If I can do it, so can you.” They got shouted down as sell-outs and Uncle Toms.

Had a revelation the other day. I’ve heard “multicultural education theorists” proclaim that “future orientation” and “planning” and such are “white thinking” and non-whites can’t be expected to do such things. The problem is, whites invest a hell a lot of parenting and societal pressure in instilling those ideas into their children. So it’s really not “inherent” to whites — so maybe, just maybe, it’s something everyone can learn?

The metrosexual sissy boys are a phenomenon that has its counterparts in any ethnic or cultural group, more or less in the same proportion to the radicals in those same groups. While in some groups the cannon fodder can nevertheless be motivated to fight initially, it’s a rare one that will stay in it beyond first blood.
The math isn’t only about numbers, but the time value of those numbers. The South lost the Civil War because it ran out of resources. Those in the North who saw that coming set their strategy based on hastening the day. When you have deeper reserves, you have more options.

That’s right. I can’t see an actual race war and this whole “racial tension” thing has been a project of study of mine for at least 20 years. It’s not truly gained any traction other than in the usual enclaves: the inner cities. There’s a lot of hatey righteous talk on the radio, but the audience is self-selected. It’s kind of like the Alex Jones (I think that’s his name. The aliens are gonna get us guy.)
The flash mobs are kind of an outgrowth of the hipster flash mobs of ten or so years ago. Only they weren’t looting: they were dancing. It’s not even an original idea. If blacks decide to go on some kind of a rampage this summer (and it’s certainly possible that they’ll do so) they’ll start by torching their own neighborhoods, robbing the liquor and appliance stores. Just like they always do.

I think I just heard or read one-too-many comments somewhere worried about the prospect of an actual all-out race war. It always sounds to me like the way people spoke, right up through 2007, about a Hillary Clinton presidential campaign. Remember that?
Anyway, leigh has it right about how (and where) these things go. The whole point has always been to get big new social spending into the neighborhoods to rebuild and offer adult education and free clinics and try try try to make these poor downtrodden people like us pleeeeeease?????

A few days or a week or so ago when the Fauxcahontas story first broke, there was a similar commotion about Indians throwing down with the blacks if things reached a fever pitch. I’ve lived on the Res (Cherokee Nation) for over ten years and you can believe me, that will never happen. We have our share of trouble makers, but they hold their heritage in high regard and, like the Japanese, look down on all the rest of us. There is inter-marriage with whites, but not a great deal.
Likewise, I grew up in Southern California and it was my experience all through 12 years of school and part of college, that Mexicans do not like blacks, either. Watch any of the zillions of prison gang shows for proof.
In short, if blacks start something, they are pretty much one their own.

When I was working at the Downtown Fishbones, my “shucker” was an arab, married to the daughter of one of Detroit’s (black) council women.

My skin crawling wasn’t directed at you. I was referring to the general vibe when things around here take a decidedly survivalist turn and, thus, my general inclination to just be a spectator at that point. As others have noted, coalitions as represented on TV and other media outlets kind of pale in comparison to how the numbers work when the rubber hits the road. I don’t know many gay dudes who don’t hate lesbians, for example. It’s a phony political coalition just like every other one on the left is. I wouldn’t even bank on the overwhelming majority of middle class blacks wanting anything to do with a Holder/Sharpton race war.
