Booker’s MSNBC appearance tonight followed Team Obama’s efforts on Monday to distance the campaign from Booker. Chief Obama strategist David Axelrod publicly rebuked Booker earlier today, saying he was “just wrong.”

    He’s as smart as the left pretends Obama is, and he knows exactly what he said and meant. They must have threatened to pull some funding from Newark or something.

    “Newark is like Los Angeles without the nice parts.” “but with more murders per capita” I lived in S.C. L.A. Saturday nights, we used to lie in bed and listen to the AUTOMATIC gunfire in the distance. Two of the gangs, ( El Condors and El Hazards ), were third generation. Circa 1955 or 56.
