RS McCain – undisclosed location [Darleen Click]

Appears convicted terrorist, Brett Kimberlin, is doing more than just trying to lawsuit people into silence.

Law enforcement officials have been made aware that convicted terrorist Brett Kimberlin appears to be engaged in an attempt to intimidate me into being silent about his sordid criminal history.

Appropriate precautions have been taken to ensure the safety of my family and others who might be endangered if Kimberlin resorts to violence to accomplish his malicious purposes. At the urging of concerned friends, we have vacated our former residence and I am now blogging from a secret location which Kimberlin will be unable to discover or reach. Nevertheless, we sincerely ask for intercessory prayer, that God will send angels to guard us in this grave crisis.

Hit Stacy’s tipjar, if you can.

I don’t know that I would give this punk-ass that kind of satisfaction really you can’t move out of your house every time you piss off a terrorist ass monkey

  2. Darleen says:

maybe you can’t but RSM can’t gamble with his wife & kids’ safety.

rsm you be given the romney treatment

Here’s what happens when the president of the United States publicly targets a private citizen for the crime of supporting his opponent.

Frank VanderSloot is the CEO of Melaleuca Inc. The 63-year-old has run that wellness-products company for 26 years out of tiny Idaho Falls, Idaho. Last August, Mr. VanderSloot gave $1 million to Restore Our Future, the Super PAC that supports Mitt Romney.

that’ll teach you for supporting santorum!!!11!!

Is the idiot chipmunk implying that Stacy’s family’s safety was already forfeit when he decided to write about Kimberlin’s hijinks?

Or am I imputing consistency where it has no home?

And just like that, RSM would become the new Zimmerman, that case having lost its lustre.

    That’s a little silly, di.

  14. Ernst Schreiber says:

This isn’t Stacy doing his thing, is it? To the marginal extent I’m aware of this convicted terrorist Kimberlin creep’s shenanigans, I can see him doing something that merits a police complaint. But I’m assuming that the secure undisclosed location where McCain has his familiy sequestered is analogous to Dick Cheney’s —i.e. his residence.

Erm…how do you target and shoot a hidden bomber?

Kimberlin is liken to the Muslim terrorists…never in your directly in your face; a coward with a short fuse he’ll light and run. Sure, a 12-gauge would make short work of him, but you’ll never get the opportunity.

He’ll wire your car or your mailbox. Or he’ll toss a firebomb through your bedroom window when everyone’s asleep. Or your kid’s bedroom window.

You can’t fight terrorists, because by definition, they are unseen cowards who terrorize.

  17. Abe Froman says:

Erm…how do you target and shoot a hidden bomber?

I neither know the answer to that, nor, thankfully, is it my problem. I’m just not wired to be a passive victim is all.

  18. jdw says:

I neither know the answer to that, nor, thankfully, is it my problem.

…because there’s no terrorists in New York City. You’re so lucky!

  19. Abe Froman says:

I’m not sure what you’re getting at there jdw. In the abstract, I have no doubt that I’m surrounded by potential terrorists. Just none that I know of who have a specific grudge against me.

  38. jdw says:

Oh! ‘feets! Lockerbie bomber dude, man!

  39. geoffb says:

Meet Mr. Kimberlin circa late 1970s. PDF. Given this persons personality and the generous funding he has gotten from various lefty foundations Stacy is right to take precautions for the safety of his family.

  40. palaeomerus says:

I hope Stacy buys himself a KSG and a .762 rifle. Or he could just get a Remington 870… but where’s the fun in that? Anyway I hope he stays safe and I hope the cops do their damned job.

  41. Pablo says:

Has anyone seen or heard of any actual threat of any sort?

  42. leigh says:

None that I have seen, Pablo. I hope Ernst is just being cynical and that Stacy isn’t pulling one of his stunts.

  43. JD says:

One of these days, Kimberlin and Rauhauser, and Brynaert will get what they have coming to them.

  44. geoffb says:

Before crying stunt read the pdf I linked above and the piece that Aaron Worthing posted about his experiences with this bunch. Sociopathic seems a pale term.

  45. JD says:

Geoffb is wise. Real peole have been having real life bad things happen to them courteousy of Kimberlin, Rauhauser, and Brynaert.

  46. Abe Froman says:

    Where do these losers live?

  47. RosalindJ says:

    Kimberlin lives in Bethesda MD.

    Stacy’s latest: http://theothermccain.com/2012/05/22/brett-kimberlin-saga-a-bizarre-turn-forcing-me-to-leave-maryland/

Yeah, Kimberlin’s a piece of work. I’d take his stalking seriously.

  49. SDN says:

“Erm…how do you target and shoot a hidden bomber? ”

jdw, he’s not hidden, if he’s filing court motions. Those are public records, and either his address or his attorney’s will be on there. There’s also the method I started to use with thor: file whatever handy charges there are (VAWA in thor’s case) and he’s got to come out eventually either to answer the charges or be arrested or answer discovery if you go the civil route.

  50. leigh says:

Wouldn’t this Kimberlin chap be on the local PD’s watchlist, fwiw? I’d like to think the ATF keeps tabs on splodey dudes, too.

  51. McGehee says:

One downside to “targeting” Kimberlin this way is, he’ll use it in filing for a Peace Order if he has any way of finding out you’re doing it. Then again, based on what I’ve read, he’ll file for a Peace Order anyway even without facts to support it.

  52. McGehee says:

I find it astonishing he’s been allowed to leave Indiana.

  53. JD says:

    We don’t want him, McG

  54. McGehee says:

Well, I doubt anybody asked Maryland either.

  55. JD says:

He has splodeyed enou people round here, right up the road.

  56. motionview says:

Ace gets a better idea of who’s who and what’s what.

  57. newrouter says:

mr jd here i have some extra gh’s

  58. JD says:

The full extent of these people’s vile actions has not yet been told. Suffice it to say that it is far more extensive than what has happened to RSM.

  59. palaeomerus says:

“I will note them later. Right now, I’m just disgusted. Disgusted at my allies, disgusted at myself.

    Cowards die a thousand deaths.

I already died 40 cowards’ deaths this past week. That’s enough for me. I will die no more of them.

Am I to understand only the smallest, least-well-financed bloggers are going to be covering this? While large media franchises with lawyers on retainer all decide “we’d rather let tiny one-man blogs take the lead on this?””

Oh I’ve seen Ace discover “his problem” and “reform” before. Most recently I can remember was the civility debate. the Tea Party were too loud and too crazy and they were too pro Palin and they sounded like a cult and they were torpedoing the aims of their own movement. They needed to be tamed and stifled before some nut went out and killed in their name. After Lougner shot up a supermarket, killed six including a little girl, and almost killed Giffords, Ace used that in two posts to beat on the loud “tea party” talkers in his commenters.

Within HOURS we all found out that Loughner was no Palin-worshipping, rino-skinning, Tea Partier at all. He had threatened to kill Giffords for betraying the LEFT by voting with the right. His actual politics were conspiracy hogwash.

And yet despite that inconvenient revelation, all the supposedly good and trusted people (mostly in the press) who Ace was afraid the loud commenters would offend , thus embarrassing fearless, cutting edge, wits like Ace, and causing Michael Steele to publicly express fear of the racism in his own party, were cynically calling the Tea Party types violent terrorists and blaming Palin for the shooting. They did this while they were calling for civility. The facts, like the safety goggles, apparently did nothing in terms of changing the narrative of “Tea Party BAD!” And nobody in the press even mentioned how Ace was fighting violent speech in his own blog! Nobody! Can you imagine that? It was like the didn’t care about his efforts!

The commenters pushed back on Ace HARD after this in an 80% ratio. They discussed how “Little Green Footballs” this all seemed. Ace didn’t much care for that. A lot of his hits were starting to look like last hits. He was started to anticipation flouncing. He and Maet walked that particular line of rhetoric back and announced that they should have realized ALL ALONG that the press can’t be trusted to referee matters of civility and that his commenters were right, he had turned yellow. So things were going to be different now. All was right with Ace of Spades. Ace had seen the light!

    Yeah well.

It lasts about three weeks if you are lucky. Then it’s right back to “will no one rid me of this unhelpful visigoth” and “what’s so great about Palin anyay?” and ” Thanks for the Senate Seat Christine! ”

More recently Ace” civlity/fariness monitor and H. L. Mencken quoter” of spades jumped on the “Theocrat” wagon and then took the vanguard of it. He admitted that he did it cynically because Romney looked like the most inevitable after Perry fuzzed out.

This is nothing. This is Ace being Ace when he’s starting to worry about losing his crowd. Words are wind.

  60. geoffb says:

A video. First of many it is to be hoped.

  61. Pablo says:

Did you notice that Ace didn’t bother to put the name “Brett Kimberlin” in that piece?

  62. cranky-d says:

Ace knows better than to actually name names when it could hurt him.

  63. newrouter says:

    pj names names

    Who is Brett Kimberlin?

  64. SDN says:

“One downside to “targeting” Kimberlin this way is, he’ll use it in filing for a Peace Order if he has any way of finding out you’re doing it.”

Well, McGehee, he might do that. OTOH, lots of people have found out just how effective Peace / Restraining Orders are over the years when they aren’t screen printed on Kevlar.

As I once pointed out to thor, the only reason ANY of us are still alive is we haven’t pissed off anyone enough for them to decide to try and kill us no matter what the cost.

  65. leigh says:

Thor really is an idiot if he was threatening you, SDN. Some people just don’t know when to quit, do they?

I would advise a great deal of caution in bringing the attention of this guy to bear on our host, who has already had more than his share of stalkers. I’m sure that his wife would also appreciate some delicacy in this matter.

  68. SDN says:

leigh, he wasn’t threatening me, at least at first, but he would show up here and call every female associated with the site the vilest things I’ve ever seen. (Which is why a VAWA complaint would have been a viable option). He refused to leave when asked, circumvented every attempt Jeff made to ban him, and only left after Jeff set up something to delete every comment he left almost as soon as he made it no matter what games he played with his login.
