My goodness. Irony this pure usually has to be cut with baking soda to keep it from burning through your nostril cartilage.

The thing is, Buffet was never cast as a bad guy, ‘cuz it’s the systems fault. Obama will just assume a bland face and say it only bolsters his argument. There will be nods of agreement and it will be decided Bush is to blame. Also Romney and the republicans and the TEA party.
Buffet is never cast as a bad guy because Obama doesn’t understand economics or tax policy. It shows every time he speaks.
You know, the Obama’s earned $800,000 this last year. They send their daughters to a VERY expensive school. Mrs Obama wears VERY (very) expensive clothes.
Honestly, it doesn’t really add up to me. $800,000 is a lot, but it would appear to me that they’re living a bit above their income.
She routinely appears in dresses worth several thousand dollars, and $500 sneakers.

Naive pap follows.
I suspect that they are fudging their expenses, too. Who vacations three or more times a year at the places they do?
“The Obama’s pay all of their personal expenses.” What does that mean? If they are flying Air Force One and Two to far flung places, closing down restaurants so they can eat without papparazzi snapping pictures, etc., who’s paying for that?
Same thing when they or just the prez and Biden decide to grab a burger downtown. Motorcades cost money.
Leigh, just because his economic agenda isn’t the same as yours doesn’t mean he doesn’t understand.
Oh. I forgot he’s empathetic, unlike the Romney’s.
Riiiiiiiiiight.
Womyn are still much better off under Obama than under that Rotney guys administration.

Obama can fix this tomorrow by writing a check to the Treasury. Doesn’t have to wait for any new law.

That would be mighty inspiring.
He should do it!
I think Sidwell friends is really expensive – like $32,000 a year per child .
And going rate for their Hawaiian rental for 17 days added up to almost $60,000 ($3,5000 a day for 17 days) .
Those are just the two things off the top of my head.
Her fancy SOTU address Tfank dress was estimated at $2000.
These things add up.
$2000 dresses here and there. They’re nothing to her. I imagine her daughters aren’t exactly wearing cheap stuff either.
I’m just saying. $800,000 doesn’t go far when you’re living like a rock star.

Carin,
It goes a lot further with the right sponsorship, too bad the IRS is too busy srutinizing tea party tax exemptions to follow the money and the press is… ok people stop laughing;)
“She routinely appears in dresses worth several thousand dollars, and $500 sneakers.”
Graft.
She can’t even be borrowing the couture dresses, Carin. She’s an ox with custom fitting issues, not Nancy Reagan who could wear a size 0-2 o sample size and return it later.
I’ve forgotten where it was published (geoffb can probably find it with his google-fu), but the Obama’s refinanced their house THREE times and maxed out their lines of credit when they lived in Chi. They are incapable of living within their means and apparently, don’t know what a budget even is.
That would be great optics and smart politics. Fortunately, they’re too greedy and selfish, like Biden.
Oh, I forgot. Their financial statements showed that they had next to no savings, either. Not even college funds for the girls.
Why would they need college funds for their girls? They are going to make college free for everyone!
Whee!!
What was I thinking, cranky? Never mind. Heh.
[…] (as do his commenters and Protein Wisdom’s Jeff G.) treats this as some sort of Gotcha! Moment (or an example of hypocrisy or irony). However, […]
Of course, these leftist elites could always just pay their poor secretaries more.
We treat this as some sort of gotcha moment. But it is nothing of the sort!
I said GOOD DAY, sir!
