Getting Bloody!

I’m not sure how yet — I’m still waiting for that Pima County Sheriff to hit the talk show circuit to give me my talking points — but I’m pretty sure Sarah Palin, Mark Levin, Rush Limbaugh, Glenn Beck, Michele Bachmann, Christine O’Donnell, Scott Walker, the TEA Party, and Barry Goldwater are to blame for this.

Shame on them, pushing what I’m sure is a good man to such a breaking point.

Racists.

They are pushing, pushing, pushing for fisticuffs or worse they can credibly (well, to the MSM anyway)
point at the TEA party type causing; gives the libs an excuse to clamp down.
Picking on girls is a sure fire way to stir up the non-collective working man, as they well know.

Don’t know the line we gotta walk, we can’t be seen as provoking violence, but we can’t let them intimidate us either, physically or otherwise.

Clever that the police are mostly sympathetic to the union side, don’t you think? Things could get weird…

Funny though how this doesn’t get any real amount of MBM face-time, but the Tea-Partiers peaceful protests?

While the tape is infuriating, and the realistic chances of Mr. Thug (that’s the name — that name again is Mr. Thug) facing any penalties at all are somewhere between a slim chance and Fat Chance, I take some solace in Instapundit’s comment: “…the angry, yet impotent face of today’s labor movement.”

Impotent, eh? Must be the loss of that Viagra benefit that made him so mad.

Think the atmosphere driven by the left the past couple of months has been ugly? It’s only a warm-up.

News of the community organizer drive went out in an e-mail to millions of supporters and past donors Tuesday night by the ongoing arm of the Obama campaign, Organizing for America.

Organizing for America, the same folks behind the union protests in Wisconsin. Wonderful.

It appealed for workers of all ages to volunteer to undergo professional organizational training this summer for stationing in communities all over the nation to drive President Obama’s social and political agenda.

The cadres “will be assigned to a specific community,” the message informs, “where they’ll work to organize supporters street by street, neighborhood by neighborhood.”

Their job will involve recruiting additional Obama workers, running Obama-related events, knocking on doors to talk of Obama “and lay new groundwork to carry this movement forward for years to come.”

Sounds like they want to get in our faces in every neighborhood in America.

Capuano’s rhetoric at yesterday’s rally was not just violent but authoritarian. He urged government employees to “get a little bloody”–to commit violent acts against citizens, as if this were Libya. As we noted yesterday, public sector “collective bargaining,” in which public officials “negotiate” with the unions that helped elect them, is essentially a conspiracy to steal money from taxpayers. Capuano, it seems, would like to escalate that to armed robbery.

    Exactly.

I got wind of a Public Employee Union (AFGE) rally in front of Claire McCaskill’s office in St Louis late Wednesday morning. Big deal right? Well turns out this protest was planned and organized using TAXPAYER RESOURCES. Not only that, I had the proof from a reader tip.

    Thomas Sowell:

The “criticism causes violence” notion plays right into the hands of those Democrats who have done outrageous things in Washington, and who now insulate themselves from the outrage they provoked by equating strong criticism with fomenting violence. [And when that fails, they skeedaddle –E.S.]

[S]ome moderate Republicans don’t realize that you can’t buy your opponents’ assumptions and then try to oppose the conclusions that follow.

Hate to admit it, but the president of the Northeast Foodworkers union used to be a pretty good friend of mine. At that time his dad (whom we nicknamed “cement shoes Bob”) was president, and my friend was treasurer of the union. We had a lot of fun, and I still like him personally, but I could never quite get aboard with his politics. Once, the union bigwigs spent $250,000 on a Clinton fund raiser ($2500 a plate). Now, where did THAT money come from?

What you are all missing here is that these thugs are PROUD of being thugs, and wear assault arrests as a badge of union honor. They think it’s funny. If this asshole gets arrested, he will leave his booking as a hero to the guys who are in charge. They WANT this crap to happen. It’s a game to them, and as far as they are concerned, this guy is a winner.

I can almost guarantee that his union bosses are yukking it up with this thug over a few beers, and trying to figure out how to shield him from any consequences. He just earned himself some bonus money…

Well, of course “Sarah Palin, Mark Levin, Rush Limbaugh, Glenn Beck, Michele Bachmann, Christine O’Donnell, Scott Walker, the TEA Party, and Barry Goldwater” — well, maybe not Mr Goldwater — are to blame! They are, after all, trying to hurt the middle class and give all of our power and wealth to the wealthy oligarchs who run this country, and you can’t blame a working man for resisting, even if the unwitting stooges of the Koch Brothers did approach disguised as a young woman.

I am reminded of this sequence from Dr Strangelove:

General: Try one of these Jamaican cigars, Mr Ambassador; they’re pretty good.

Russian Ambassador Alexi de Sadesky: Thank you, no. I do not support the work of imperialist stooges.

General: Oh, only commie stooges, eh?
