Even Dicky Lugar signed it and he way bad wants to shove the DREAM act down Indiana’s throat like it was a chocolate muffin.

Jeff, you’re such a cynic. It’s as though you’ve been through this kind of GOP collapse before…

WTF???XXX### Will the media please stop calling these TAX CUTS!!! I know, I know, it’s like asking them to pay attention to their writing, for chrissakes. Not like it’s a part of their current job discription or anything.

    – By the Democrats/Progressives basic definition, anytime your given any of your earnings by the government, it’s a tax cut.

    – BTW, the FDA bill has not gone before the House yet.

  7. cranky-d says:

The house passed their own version of the FDA bill. Now they will have to reconcile the bills, vote again, and then send that back to the Senate. We can still bitch loud enough to stop them, I think. Well, we could if those jackasses actually listened.

It didn’t have to be like this.

Yeah, it’s a lot like the first time the kitty craps in the litterbox. You need to encourage it, but you know damn well it’s gonna keep crapping on the rug ’til you get it trained properly.

    From the Fox article:

Reid, in response, accused Republicans of pursuing obstruction politics.

For two years the Democrats have been accusing the Republicans of obstruction — they’re the Party of “No!” — and how did the voters react? They rewarded the Republicans for obstructing the Democrats’ agenda. You would think by now that the Democrats would have figured out that dog won’t hunt.

I’m hoping that the Republicans know we want them to keep saying “No!” and that Reid will still be whining about Republican obstruction two years from now as the Senate gavel is pried from his fingers.

Man, I miss crazy Chicago TV ads. I liked Eagle Man best.

I know my intent (heh) on Nov. 2 was to tell the Republicans, “More obstructy, please.” With a dash of, “And undo what you can of the last two years, there’s a good Congress.”

My intent on Nov. 6, 2012 will depend on how much of “obstructy” and “undo” gets done before then.

Don’t these people know that there are post offices to name, national holidays to officialize, and whatnot?
