Yet more trouble for Ms O’Donnell and her appeal to the godbotherers. Surely now the TEA Partiers are going to run away in droves!
…
Seriously. It seems to me the admission that she’s made the same kinds of youthful mistakes as the rest of as, and that she has certain libertarian tendencies, to boot, should make her more appealing to those Dems who don’t like religious conservatism, but who also don’t much like balding, tax hiking Marxists.
And yet we’re being told that her candidacy is dead (even though we’d vote for her, sophisticates that we are) because her witchcraft and such will run off “moderates” and “independents,” etc. (But not Tea Party types. No! We never said that.)
Sure it will. And sure you didn’t. Keep reaching, fellas.

People who are acceptable to the media:
Ted Kennedy: DUI, Manslaughter, Cheater, Socialist

Harry Reid: Illegal land deals, Clean articulate negro, Coon is my pet, Socialist

Add your own!
People who are unacceptable to the media:
Sarah Palin: Drives Liberals insane
Christine O’Donnell: Said some prevocative things on a show she was paid to say provocative things on
ZOMG! Political candidates are human? How DARE they!
Good thing we have such saints ready to throw that first stone for us…
Patterico correct, Jeff G. wrong … again.
Then why not wander over there and stay, AJB?
Good thing the election isn’t today, huh? And gee, what are the chances once some of those voters get over their butthurt because their establishment shoo-in got his ass handed to him that they figure voting for a Marxist isn’t a great idea.
Further, if that doesn’t happen, what does that tell you about both those voters and Castle — and how much Republicans could rely on him, anyway?
And how does all that fit in with what I’ve been posting…again?
Really. You need to at least try to think these things through, AJB.
Polls rule, don’t they, AJB?
Probably because he’d get lost in the background, and be paid no attention whatsoever.
I think that’s what motivates so many lefties who troll ostensibly “right-wing” forums: they’re looking for attention they don’t get at sites that share their viewpoints.
Out! Out, damned sock!
In the future everyone’s candidacy will be dead for 15 minutes.
Smell that? You smell that?
What?
Panic, son. Nothing else in the world smells like that.
I love the smell of panic in the morning.
obamacare witch doctor jokes-
Nurse to patient-“Which Doctor would you prefer to see?”
then she busts out laughing…
You know, as an eeeevile conservative White GOP raaaacist, it occurs to me I SHOULDN’T support the war on drugs. Make it a state issue and every Democratic state in the union will collapse within ten years.
I think she is more interresting that she was a bit of a libertine in college before she found Jesus. Now I know she is just a dumb ass, but if I recall that was the case for Thomas Aquinas, Francis of Assisi, a few other giants of Christian thought.
excuse me for sec, while I channel my 1958 Kirk Douglas. [throat clearing]
OOODDDIIINNNNN!!!!!!!
Not to mention we can stop worrying about Libertarians splitting the vote because they’ll be too baked to remember where their polling place is.
As a Concerned Conservative Christian, I must say that I find all these revelations to be astoundingly disconcerting. Oh, whatever shall I do? Its obviously hopeless so its probably better just to stay home and not vote for anybody. I’m certain there are other, wiser people out there with my best interests at heart who can make these terribly difficult decisions for me.
Didn’t Martin Luther recommend sinning “boldly”? Now a college co-ed getting laid while drunk on frat punch and then having regrets about that may not particularly be bold, but as sins go it is mild, human and very forgivable.
Plus, all these revelations just show she was never worthy of Redemption in the first place. No Real Christian ever did anything Sinful before coming to Christ, as we all know. Thats just Not what Christianity is all about.
“Drug policy should be decided at the state level, not the federal level.”
Now why would any conservative have a problem with that statement? I agree 100%. The war on drugs, as least as far as it has been fought, has been counter productive.
I should add the “federal” war on drugs has been counter productive. The state efforts have their problems too, but at least you have more control over dealing with that.
#13 Joe, #18 urthshu
I think Alinsky’s Rule 4 trumps Redemption, no?
“Seriously. What the hell is wrong with this guy?”
The word “dick” comes to mind.
If CO’D does relent and finally go on Bill Maher’s tepid little show, it should be with the requirement that he reprise Dana Carvey’s Church Lady character. “Church Lady, I have sinnnnneddddddd!!! boohoohoo!”
Dunno, Spiny. You tell me.
O’Donnell needs to focus on winning Delaware, not Bill Maher’s approval. He just wants to fuck her. Several ways.
Well, well, well. Who’d ah thunk it. The media is going to help the Democratic Party’s national messaging, which is that the GOP is a party full of Christine O’Donnells…
A scary Halloween is just flat out guaranteed. Boo!
Now I know she is just a dumb ass…
Or so I have been told by the Conservative and Media Pharasies.
Ladies and gentlemen, your 2012 ‘conservative’ party candidate……….Sarah Palin.
sweet!
Republicans are always called ‘dumb ass’ and ignorant and &c. And name-callers, don’t forget that.
Mat 15:11 Not that which entereth into the mouth defileth the man; but that which proceedeth out of the mouth, this defileth the man.
(yeah, yeah…but it is Sunday.)
As a Christian, I believe locking people in prison with rapists and murderers for puffing on a plant is immoral.
Obviously a, say, prosecuting attorney my feel differently. The war on drugs is a cash cow for the legal system.
may feel differently…
here is your hill Jeff.
Palin cannot win the general….but she is a shoo-in for the nom, exactly like O’Donnell. Message discipline won’t carry the nation.
CO’D (great name btw, cash on delivery) is a micro-test for the 2012 presidential.
More than a cash cow. Its an avenue towards violations of many Civil Rights at once, and towards militarization of police forces. Removal of said cow would leave lots of effectively paramiltary forces with oh so little to do. Wonder what they’ll dream up?
#26 geoffb
Oh gawd, the second commenter at the Yourish link: that pretentious ass “Chuck(le)” got booted from LGF when it was still sane.
>>Palin cannot win the general…
You meant to write “must not”.
>>the Light of Dawn
Isaiah 14:12? Naaaaaah
As much as I would love to see Andrew Sullivan’s head do this, Palin is not the shoe in for the nomination.
“militarization of police forces”
Ayup
BTW, this is probably the first time I’ve seen an article on CO’Ds policy positions rather than Jr.HS gossip.
/funny-hmm, not funny-ha
nishi is exactly right at #32 I think Palin is a shoo-in for the nom against fey tepid fucktoys like Pawlenty and Romney but she can’t win the general cause she’s a stupid trashy whore and her negatives are really high and who would even agree to be her running mate?
plus the media will want Palin to be the nominee and they’ll downplay the substance of more worthy candidates
Plus, all these revelations just show she was never worthy of Redemption in the first place.
Jesus checks to make sure you’re a card-carrying Trinitarian before he’ll save you. I learned that at Hot Air. So if she’s a Trinitarian, she’s OK by Jesus.
who would even agree to be her running mate?
Glenn Beck. Doy.
happy, no dispute about Mittens and Good & Pawlenty.
Don’t forget Fuckabee too.
nishi is exactly right
Remember to smear cupcake frosting on her girly bits first. To kill the stink.
Maybe. Nothing is written in stone.
From my perch, I see plenty of folks who would crawl over proverbial broken glass to vote for or against Palin or Obama, so maybe its a wash.
In either case, its pretty easy to see the Losers becoming unhinged, and maybe even the Winners getting a touch crazy as well.
Me, I don’t give a damn either way if they do. Long time comin’, I say, and damn you all for it.
Actually, I think Mitch Daniels may be the guy. But we will see.
I might fault her for going on that damn show, but that’s about it.
two fox news employees running on the same ticket
more endtimes shit right there as if we needed any
nishi has never been exactly right in her life.
Fox News employees do not run political campaigns. F’rinstance, the next governor of Ohio is not a Fox News employee.
Palin running, BTW, is maybe the only thing that would get Obama the nod. There’s plenty of Clintonites that would love to knock that idiot out of the running, and I get the impression he’d be quite content with 1 and out anyhow.
Too much time at Patterico rots your brain. It is worse than drugs.
Not sure why nishi thinks anyone gives a flying fuck about Sarah Palin
Kate Mengele is in the house and ‘feets is doing best dance moves to gain her attention.
In other news, Peter Beinart attempt some concern trolling about Palin being the GOP’s George McGovern and gets promptly corrected by George Will
if you ignore the palin until it’s too late it will be too late I think
The Tea Party people were too stupid and aimless to vote for Team R without the self-appointed Sarah Palin’s leadership?
That’s just silly. The second Palin successfully hijacks the Tea Party it’s not the Tea Party anymore and the dirty socialists will be correct in making the Tea Party synonymous with that empty-headed McCain-loving money-hungry cooze.
I don’t think anybody wants that. Except Obama.
Too late to what, exactly?
By my lights the nation is already on the cusp of serfdom for the majority, to include everyone on the thread and everyone they know and love too.
So what, precisely, does it matter what your bitch is?
Happyfeet, if your worst nightmare comes true, and Palin is running against Obama in 2012, who will you vote for? Will you vote at all?
This is a trick question, you’re an ass any way you answer.
I will probably go get tasty pancakes again Mr. Lee. That sort of fluffy celebrity whore choice is more suited to American Idol than the presidency of our poor little country.
cusp of serfdom holla
Man, is this going to become a Palin-hate thread happyfeet?
Seriously, what did she ever do that proved he eeeeevvvolllll un-fitness? Run on the 2008 ticket? Endore McCain over Hayworth? So she’s exxed forever, not based on policy or anything, but only by association and endorsement? Like Christie is now nothing but a sell-out, candy-assed, turncoat, establishment RINO?
I’m not saying she’d be the best candidate either; we don’t know who’ll be running yet! But she’s far and away more acceptable than Huckabee, for instance, or Romney, or Pawlenty.
Are you saying that you’d spend election day selecting cupcakes, like you plan to when you essentially vote for Boxer and Brown by doing so?
You’d rather see the Obami retain power?
If that’s what the choice is, it is what it is. Don’t vote if it makes you feel superior, but I’m thinking any bitching about the Socialist in Chief afterward will ring hollow.
Obama Palin what’s the difference both are a vote against seriousness and for an insipid and inherently un-American tribalism
So which tribe are you with if you vote for Palin? Just askin…
“Obama Palin what’s the difference ”
Yeah, like that. Hollow.
inherently un-American tribalism
If there were enough weird, weak, hysterical and ambiguously gay people, you could have a tribe of your own.
Obami is going to win next time around anyway, Bob.
FTFY.
The second anyone successfully takes on the mantle of leadership over the entire Tea Party movement, it’s done.
But no one has done it. Many have tried but the Tea Party folks aren’t listening.
Seems to me that it would be the same tribe as O’Donnell, who you have no problem with…
JD,
How can you be so sure the Obami will win in 2012?
Not voting is a vote.
The TEA Partiers are a 3rd force [not party] which clearly are a rebuke to Establishment GOPers, yet they do not vote Dem.
happyfeet’s in love with Sara Palin. He just can’t quit her.
what I think about O’Donnell doesn’t matter what’s of not in Delaware is John Cornhole’s fag-ass NRSC’s treatment of O’Donnell I think… it speaks volumes and there are a lot of people covering their ears
what’s of *note* is what that’s supposed to say
Bob – I hope I am wrong wrong wrong wrong. But right now, it looks like Palin is the frontrunner for the nomination, Daniels was assaulted for having the temerity to suggest that we focus on fiscal issues and have a truce on social issues, and no matter how bad it is today, Barcky’s MFM ain’t gonna let him lose. The only way I see him losing is if something external happens, or if he does something that so enrages the left that they challenge him in the primaries. I hope nothing external happens, and doubt that the left will rid us of him.
“Obami is going to win next time around anyway, Bob.”
Oh, well, in that case screw it, why spend the money on an election?
Mr Rove, JD on line four…
If we ignore the danger-palin-will-destroy-you-all crazies, what then?
Oh, I know: nothing. Nothing at all.
Mr. Slart used to be when I would helpfully warn people about the danger of Sarah Palin’s self-appointed position as Team R’s celebrity spokeswhore I used to get greeted with a chorus of she’s not even running for president shut you face you stupid happyfeet.
Where did that chorus go?
Lee there is every reason to be unhopeful about Team R’s 2012 prospects given that Romney Palin Pawlenty and other such tepid lightweight losers are the frontrunners.
She’s not even running for president shut you face you stupid happyfeet.
“Where did that chorus go?”
Hypothetical?
You will notice nishis link included qualifiers from Mrs Palin, right?
Went to work chanting for her nomination didn’t it?
I don’t know why you’re asking me that question, hf.
OK did I miss an official announcement of candidacy from Palin? Did she file?
WTF, let it go. If you’re getting tied in knots on a stoopit rumor from some net-based fuckwad, you’re an idiot. A moron. An a-hole.
Just so’s we’re clear on that.
Maybe you’re right JD, maybe Palin is in the drivers seat. We’ll see.
But I think you may be counting others out too early. Daniels may still run, so may Pence, and a host of others. And she may recognize that, fair or otherwise, she’s a polarizing figure right now. Could she overcome that with some solid appearances on hostile venues, and a great many public appearances? Yes. I don’t think she’s anywhere near as stupid as she’s characterized by many.
The same meme was used against Reagan, and J. Danforth Quayle; one talked past the MFM and largely rose above it, the other, ell, not so much.
As far as the MFM crawling back into the tank or Obama? I mean, have they ever really left the tank?
But seriously, people are increasingly skeptical of the MFM precisely because they can see that they’re openly fellating Baracky; that the MFM is doing it’s best to support him.
Don’t lose your optimism, it’s too early to surrender to the cult of Obama.
My chorus starting abilities leave much to be desired.
Cigarette running is much safer and much more profitable. I’d like nothing better than to find out that O’Donnell’s being funded by some rag-tag band of interstate cigarette tax evaders. It brings to mind the Whiskey Rebellion. Outlaw!
– I’m not buying the “pick it up, it’s a ginmmee” for Bumbblefuck argument. There is a whole hell of a lot of political millage to go before we can even start talking seriously about 2012. For starters, I doubt he could carry a majority right now no matter who he faced. The Left won the last round by force multiplying on the shoulders of a do-nothing GOP Congress, and voter apathy. The right is anything but apathetic right now.
– And that doesn’t even take into account what will happen if the Reps retake one or both Houses, and what they do if they get back in control, and how Bumbblefuck reacts.
– All things considered, I don’t think he’ll even want to take the chance of getting his ass kicked soundly if things aren’t stacked in his favor, and if any of that happens they won’t be.
– I’d give him 1 in 3 at this point.
– All questions concerning Palin are in the same boat. Just about everything is up in the air and up for grabs, so the winners will be whoever takes advantage of the opportunities. I think the depth and endurance of the tsunami is going to surprise a lot of people, but just how that translates for all the aspiring candidates is not even close to clear right now.
– The only thing sure is there’s going to be a lot of shit flying around in the storm.
I still don’t think Palin will run, except maybe as VP again. Which I would have no problem with.
“Went to work chanting for her nomination didn’t it?”
Most certainly sdferr,
Especially in light of the fact that it knows that any talk of a Palin candidacy pushes happyfeet’s buttons, and-voila-instant threadjacking controversy.
Oh, and bh’s obvious lack of chorus starting skillz :)
I’m just gonna start calling it “nishi the spoon”; because her only aim seems to be stirring things up…
– Just for starters, does anyone here believe Bambi could get reelected if the unemplyment figures stay around 10% to the end of his term?
“chanting for her nomination ”
Where was that?
I doubt Obama could get re-elected if the number fell to 5% BBH. He’s such a nasty piece of work I can’t see the country wanting any more to do with him.
the thread is titled uh-oh so I think a discussion of a Sarah Palin candidacy is smack dab on topic Mr. Reed
Obama might win in 2012. And if the opposition candidate choices are limited to just Romney, Huckabee, Pawlenty or Palin, it is not unreasonable to think he would pull it out like Bush did against Kerry (I am using that as an example of a President facing some negatives but taking on a weak challenger, not that Bush is anything as bad as Obama).
As an incumbnant, Obama is a very dangerous candidate. And he goes into any race with roughly 45% committed to him. And if the GOP does do especially well in 2010, that might even help Obama (there are a lot of people who like the idea of divided government).
My hope is someone like Daniels, breaks out of the Romney-Pawlenty-Palin-Huckabee pack. We will see.
Who’s to say Obama’s the nominee? He’ll be getting primaried.
I’d add “bank on it” but that’s sooooo teh ghey
Are you addressing me happyfeet? I mean, Mr. Reed is my father :)
But seriously, the title is applicable to a Palin candidacy only if it is arguably a bad thing. And if she were, you know, actually a candidate.
I understand you’re apprehensive about even the discussion of her candidacy. I get it. And I wasn’t saying you would try to jack the thread; only that nishi may have been counting on using your Palin animus to her nefarious advantage.
Muh man, we don’t even know for sure if she is running yet, or who else will also be running!
sorry Mr. Bob I forgot
There is a problem sometimes cause of I am highly suggestible and easily manipulated.
I own that.
BBH and sdferr, yeah, Obama could still win. Even with things staying the same or getting sligtly worse. Not that he should, but do not underestimate the risk of Obama.
And while unemployment is not going to drop to 5% by 2012, if it did, Obama would take credit for it (just like Bill Clinton took credit for the positive effects of the Contract with America). It would be very difficult to beat Obama if that occurred.
If Sarah Palin were elected president she would pursue a fiscal policy that has some relationship to the way that a business or family would practice fiscal policy
Bitch better get to know her place. Right?
And that Odonnell cunt? No problem, it’s easy.
Sarah Palin would be a fantastic president. Chris Christie should run with her.
I am not being funny.
I doubt Obama gets a serious primary challenge. The only way if Hillary thinks she can take him out. Otherwise she is not going to go there.
Christie would be just over a a half-term governor come 2012 so he’d have way more experience than Palin.
I’m funny, but not in a ha ha kind of way.
BBH
Unless unemployment drops to levels that seem waaaaaayyy out of reach now, and GDP growth exceeds 6% from now until November 2012, Obama is very much in trouble vis-a-vis his, and the national Democrats, handling of the economy.
Barring this, Obama better pray for a real walkover opponent, and a renewal of the absolte MFM control of “the narrative”; the latter of which is probably never comin’ back…
As much as I like Christie, I take him at his word that he’ll finish his term as NJ Governor. Heck, the way he’s going he’d get re-elected.
And that’s a good thing, having a conservative governor flourish in a high-visibility, deep-blue, state like NJ.
I like aspects of a possible Palin candidacy, but, will reserve getting “invested” in any single candidate until the time comes, and I can assess the sum of each candidate who is in the race.
All I know is that I’d probably vote for tickle-me-Elmo over Obama in 2012. I hate to admit such a partisan slant, but I fear what 4 more years of the Obami in charge might mean for America.
But, you know, I suspect Elmo may be a RINO at heart…
“renewal of the absolte MFM control of “the narrative”; the latter of which is probably never comin’ back…”
I’d like to believe that Bob, but I gotta ask…when was the last time there was a Predator Drone attack in Pakistan?
“The American UAV campaign against the Taliban and al Qaeda leadership in Pakistan is into its third year, and attacks are at an all time high. So far this year, there have been about two attacks a week. In some cases there have been as many as four in 24 hours. In all of 2009 there were 53 attacks, and only 35 in 2008. This year, it appears there will be well over a hundred attacks. While there are more attacks, fewer civilians have been killed.”

I agree that they haven’t been publicized by the MFM like when eeeevvvvvoolllll BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOSH! was C-in-C, Lee. But they’re still going on, at a higher pace even.
Nice piece of info to have at the ready for arguments with the hypocritical code-pinko crowd. A bunch who, by the way, have lost all credibility, and visibility too, since the W.O.T. achieved it’s current level of moral acceptability and superiority under the light-worker Obama.
Couldn’t happen to a nicer group of people.
DRAT! HTML-FAIL. Or the blog-coup of the italics.
“they’re still going on, at a higher pace even.”
Get outta town! I hadn’t heard that!
Wouldn’t want to call into question the Nobel Peace prize, would we?
Or upset Obamas base.
You get my point, right?
I agree Joe, there will be a backlash to the teabagger radiacalism in 2012. Unlike Bush, who began plunging at the beginning of second term, Obama has held a steady 45-47% for the past year. The teabagger movement is headless, and if Palin is the best they’ve got, forget it.
Glenn Beck has some good advice for many Red State conservatives.
As with the feminists and Bill Clinton all these groups are left first, second , third… always. The “issues” are simply the hook to hang the leftist hat on. Boob bait for the lefty useful idiot Bubbas. Power is all they are ever serious about.
AJ Bubba checks in.
Since it is Sunday, I want to urge all to follow the principles of the Gospels. If you have masturbated, you have committed adultery. The best course of action to save you from hell is to mutilate yourself by removing your right hand and plucking out your eye, as instructed in the Gospel of Matthew 5:29-30.
Yes I do Lee,
Which is why guys like us need to ballyhoo it whenever possible. I plan to post something at Dan’s on Monday about the milestone, and to publicly wonder what you’ve put forward; where is the MFM and code pinkos on this?
I mean, I’ve often heard the Punditry describing being motivated by “the hypocrisy”. Looks like a pretty glaring example to me…
But I get your point. And if a schlub like me knows better, well, then there are many more who probably do.
Too bad I can never hope to get on the front page of high traffic sites like Hot Air and Ace…
Seriously though, there’ll be more De senate stuff at those places tomorrow, probably…
Wishcasting again AJB? More like just openly trying to threadjack…
Vai Via, cafone!
AJB eats his own boogers. And those of people who walk near him. It is true.
Oh, and nice try at invoking Alinsky rule 4 AJB.
But actual Christians understand that they can count on God’s mercy, forgveness, and their redemption. Non-believers can neither completely understand many scripture passages nor can they ever hope to successfully use thoise against the devout.
But you socialist do gain some traction with many of my fellow Catholics; the “cafeteria Catholics” that is.
“Since it is Sunday, I want to urge all to follow the principles of the Gospels. If you have masturbated, you have committed adultery. ”
It doesn’t say that in the Gospels. The first sentence was ok though, other than limiting it to Sunday of course.
I urge you to give up preaching. You suck at it.
Wasn’t one of the Ten Commandments “thou shall not be a lying mendoucheous twatwaffle” ?
Actually, Jesus said if you just look at another woman with lust in your heart, you are guilty of adultery. God has very high standards. Impossible for Man to meet, to tell the truth.
That’s a Christian principal…
Imperfection is acceptable to God, but not Lee. Ironic.
I just think it’s hilarious as fuck that people like AJB are far more beholden to their religion than the cartoon Christians they have in their head.
Abe – Their religion being the historically proven to be an objective failure religion of leftism?
If imperfection was acceptable to God, he wouldn’t have let His Son be sacrificed.
And what do you mean imperfection is unacceptable to me?
You first, sinner.
That bullshit karl rove bullshit you directed at me above, for having the audacity to dare to state an opinion.
So was the original American Republic, Einstein, that kinda being the goal. A few years later, so is the Internet, and it works a charm.
What wasn’t headless? Mao’s China. And some fifty million of his former countrymen.
Nice call, AJB. Oh, and fear becomes you.
Obama Palin what’s the difference
That – ladies and gents – is grieferfeet in a nutshell
We humans all fall short of God’s standards-all of us. But can take comfort in His boundless mercy and forgiveness; all motivated by His unconditional love for us.
I always keep an eye out for lightning bolts and fire when I am getting near a Church.
I hear Obamacare has terminal issues, years before Obarky’s legacy was expected to kick in.
I also hear doublewides down by the river are popular among disgraced Team D- presidents.
“That bullshit karl rove bullshit you directed at me above, for having the audacity to dare to state an opinion.”
Oh…
Well, I suppose you could draw that conclusion about me then. It all makes sense now…
Considering that what AJB does here has been compared to jerking off…
Exactly, JD. I don’t know why anyone worries about Evangelicals in Jesusland when there are pinko poofters trying to take their money, change their light bulbs and tell them what to eat.
In the rules of moral equivalency engagement, Abe, there is only selective moral equivalency on the left.
One suspects there’s a user manual somewhere, but this remains unproved.
WECs and YECs and you racist homophobes will be taken over by the demographic time bomb. cya.
JHo – If there is a user guide, I would like to know what their established hierarchy is for their grievance groups.
But, you know, YMMV…
The Collectivist, Statist Left cannot imagine any kind of government, or political movement of any kind, without a Great Leader, a fuhrer, if you will…
That’s also filed under “D”, JD. See: decibels, most.
OK gang, I gotta go feast on the Asado de Puerco that I’ve had going since right after 8 am mass.
It smells effin’ awesome.
Not too many good Mexican places up nawth hyar. So I had to resort to makin’ it muh-self!
Be back later
Be well, Mr. Reed.
JHo – I just want to know if a hispanic transtesticled handicapable person ranks higher or lower on the grievance scale than a black hermaphrodite atheist with a club foot.
#143-I think it involves charts and graphs and many, many bureaucrats to figure that out.
yes Darleen as long as failshit America’s next celebrity whore president is our celebrity whore president with a bright shiny R everything will be ducky
Det. One: Did you pull her jacket yet?
Det. Two: Yep, and her record is longer than her shapely legs.
Ah, Palin is just like Obama. And shit is just like Shinola.
at this point you have to kind of suspect that Fox News wants to beat Christy O like a diseased leprous whore what wandered into the village on Sunday or why do the keep putting that piece of shit Rove on?
Chris Wallace got lots o’ pull hf.
Pablo they’re both shallow inexperienced lazy whores what trade on razzle dazzle and charisma and tribal appeals and an over-reliance on handlers than they are serious politicians what are willing to do the serious policy work attendant to leadership
Cancel an appearance on our show will ya O’D? Well, we’ll see about that.
plus neither of them can cook for shit
ahhh… good point Mr. sdferr
And I want to know where pdbuttons’ flat-headed web-fingered crippled prison farm kids in a box would rank.
flat-headed web-fingered crippled prison farm kids in a box… triumphant!!!
Bob-
I’m just gonna start calling it “nishi the spoon”; because her only aim seems to be stirring things up…
“Do not try to bend the spoon– that’s impossible. Instead, only try to realize the truth. There is no spoon.”
“why do the keep putting that piece of shit Rove on?”
Maybe Rove has a contract?
contract doesn’t mean he has to be the go to guy for kicking Christy O square in the vag every half hour
heh “…kicking Christy O square…”
While wearing his oh so pointy 8″ heels too. He’s a mean girl.
That WOULD be a very odd contract, I’ll grant you that.
I went to the Mark Ambinder post. I can’t take anyone seriously who doesn’t know the difference between “affect” and “effect.”
Sometimes it seems like Paul Ryan (and Arthur Brooks with him of course) is the only guy in the game who knows what the hell the stakes are. It’s hard to believe, but there it is.
Except for his being happily married to a non-nutter, he almost looks like a Lincoln in his differences from all the rest. He just knows, the same way Lincoln knew.
Paul Ryan Lady Gaga Mitch Daniels and us
I’m entirely innocent of any knowledge of this Miss Gaga of whom you speak, but I’ll vouch for all the rest hf. And my depression in that knowledge, also.
Lady Gaga has a crank.
Wouldn’t be surprised if nishi does, too.
What, like one of those things they used to wind engines up, to get them started JD?
Went over to Ace’s for fun and asked the questions: 1) Why do dems’ job for them; and 2) is Ace getting consideration from the RNC or NRSC.
Answer to 1 was to play the victim card: I’m setting up an Emmanual Goldstein (him) to take the fall for O’Donnell’s loss.
Answer to 2 was not forthcoming.
I found the responses nonetheless illuminating.

These people do not care for Coons.
sdferr – would that it were that.
You would think so. No doubt it will hurt him. There are most kossacks out there than you think. I suspect against any candidate Obama is going to get at 40-45. It will be close with a good candidate.
Oh congratulations Jeff on Denver. It should have been closer, but Seattle made way too many mistakes. Denver did not.
The Cowboys however did not disappoint, I enjoyed that loss.
And what was with Detroit? Jeez Carin they almost took out the Eagles.
That sounds nuts to me. Just doesn’t seem possible Obama can hold “independent” voters over the next two years when he’s losing them already, let alone manage to compete against a good opponent, whoever that might be.
it’s a lot a turnout game unless Palin is the nominee then the dirty socialists don’t have a turnout care in the world
My Colts look solid tonight.
I like that Texan ballclub.
Trouble is, Obama has two more years of fucking things up (he can’t help himself, come on, admit it) to put under his belt, further enraging anyone with half-a-lick of sense. Turn out shouldn’t be hard for his opposition no matter what shenanigans the left tries to pull. (oh, and don’t forget, the left will turn on him after the war assessment coming in Dec. Mr Thin-skin won’t be sleeping very well come next February.)
KNOCK ON WOOD, sorry Ms. O’Donnell, but my Colts are vivisecting the Giants.
Turnout? Obama has to send people across the street to recruit warm bodies for his speeches. Palin doesn’t.
Turnout?
This is a fucking dominant half of football. Both sides of the ball. Absolute domination.
7 more. WOOT!
The only thing that seems certain is that anyone who is even remotely connected to conservative politics, had been found to be inadequate by hf. Apparently, the only person deserving of his vote is, well, himself. As a result, I think we can safely disregard any further consideration of hf’s comments, such as they are. In this respect, he’s devolved to nishit-like levels, as far as I’m concerned. I, for one, would be happy to pull the lever for Palin, Christie, Ryan, or any of the other conservative/Tea Party candidates out there. ‘Feet can stay home.
See Greg, it seems to me that you are the one failing to differentiate in this case. Which doesn’t mean you shouldn’t vote for the candidate of your choice. It just means you’re a reader-outer.
Greg outs readers? That’s despicable, if someone wants to keep their textual preference private we should respect that. This is a free country isn’t it?
What’s that you say?
Oh, well then, nevermind.
I’m gonna hope Greg doesn’t get any more confused than he already may be, given the play to be had with my choice of wording ThomasD.
He of course means “Establishment” republican where he refers to Castle being the first to go down. What, is Bob Bennett chopped liver?
And how odd that he doesn’t think to include Martha Coakley (sp?) as an Establishment Guy?
Joe – Daniels told my “Peoples Republic of Northwest Indiana” to expect no more State funds unless we un-elected crooked politicians. It brought a tear to my eye. The local machine was in an uproar. Imagine having to supply paperwork that showed where money was actually spent. The nerve.
On a sad note, Mitch won’t make it through the major media’s slant. He has long answers to hard questions. Alternative media has to save him.
But you repeat yourself.
Another obviously racism-motivated attack on Obama.
“I’m one of your middle class Americans. And quite frankly, I’m exhausted. Exhausted of defending you, defending your administration, defending the mantle of change that I voted for,” a woman told President Obama at a town hall.
“My husband and I have joked for years that we thought we were well beyond the hot dogs and beans era of our lives, but, quite frankly, it’s starting to knock on our door and ring true that that might be where we’re headed again, and, quite frankly, Mr. President, I need you to answer this honestly. Is this my new reality?,” she added.
The clip ends there… before we could see Obama’s no-doubt lengthy, dissembling and ultimately non-responsive response involving tax-avoiding millionaires, cars in ditches and Slurpees.
