Hate-F*ckGate [Dan Collins]

Stacy McCain is quite right to state that everyone involved in the publication of that vile rant ought to be cashiered.

Meanwhile, Patterico poses William Saletan’s questions regarding the humanity of the late-term unborn. Turning the question around, if Saletan believed that Vietnam or Iraq were murderous, illegal wars of aggression, why did he not follow in the steps of Bill Ayers or the recruiter shooter? Or if, to reproduce the proposition of one of the commenters, Meat Is Murder, Tasty Murder, then what? Or to come to grips with the hypothetical, what is going to happen to the elderly under rationed health care, does he think? Or premies? Or to bring in Sotomayor and empathy, is the rule, “I can’t help you, son, ’cause you’re too young to vote?”

Speaking of the helpless, the proposed Georgia voter identification rules would place a disproportionate burden on minorities, much in the same way that paying taxes places one on Obamanominees. When they’re unable to re-enter the US, you’ll understand why. Fortunately, justice need not be as blind as cops.

Speaking of empathy, again, why has Obama still not spoken to the political and terroristic murder of Pvt. William Long? Perhaps empathetic people such as Dr. Tiller are only worth our empathy? Remember, the term “Islamist” is only a manufactured tag meant to demonize people, whereas “Christianist” is spot on.

Rep. Visclosky (D-IN) gives up his gavel after being subpoenaed in the same pay-for-play investigation that is likely to sink Murtha. Which gavel? The Energy and Water Development Subcommittee–involved with appropriations, naturally.

No Sheeples on HFG.

At Salon, there are five pieces on George Tiller, one on the most recent GITMO suicide (who, Greenwald helpfully informs us, “successfully kill[ed] himself”) and nary a one about the killing of Pvt. William Long. Malkin has a solid article on the issues.

Waterboarding and abortion. Abortion and self-defense.

ABC, CBS Evening News don’t believe story of US soldier’s terrorist murder on US soil newsworthy, or more evidence that identity politics are a ghetto of dumb.

thor dresses all in green Spandex.

  2. B Moe says:

Yes, thor, you think misogyny is hilarious. We get it.

  3. JHo says:

thor’s folks gave him $500 again to shut him up and get him out of the house so he bought another surfboard.

  4. Barrack Milhouse Obama says:

Speaking of the helpless, the proposed Georgia voter identification rules would place a disproportionate burden on minorities….

I like that guys, well done. You know we could make a pretty good case that voting itself places a disproportionate burden on minorities and just have it outlawed down there altogether.

    I like that.

  5. JHoward says:

Listen, Obambi, we could make a pretty good case that everything DC does ultimately places a disproportionate burden on minorities and just have it outlawed altogether.

  6. JHoward says:

When they’re unable to re-enter the US, you’ll understand why.

There are ways around everything, Dan, provided you’re not American:

In his May 27, 2009 story “Former Agent Calls Sham Marriages ‘Epidemic,'” CBS4 (Denver) investigator Brian Maass interviewed John Sampson, a former immigration investigator who “says he is seeing an ‘epidemic’ of fraudulent marriages where foreign women marry American men, then claim domestic violence to escape the marriage and legally remain in the U.S.” Since January 2009, when Sampson set up a private business in Aurora, Colorado, he’s been contacted by 200 men who say they were falsely accused of domestic violence by foreign women seeking green cards, which, under the Violence Against Women Act, they can get by simply claiming abuse.

I support giving foreign women extra-equal rights, just to make sure.

  7. meya says:

It’s really shocking that playboy published a sexist article. Now everyone will see right through “I read it for the articles” and think that playboy consumers have been sexist all along.

  8. alppuccino says:

playboy consumers have been sexist all along. and left-leaning apparently. So based on your most recent delve into the typed word, you’ve just reinforced the notion that you and your lefty cohorts are nasty sexists with no interest in facts or consequences. Case closed.

  9. LTC John says:

Sure meya, it is just “sexist”. Nothing more than that, eh?

  10. Carin says:

I think sore and meya should go tell the gals at Pandagon that hatefuck lists are just kewel.

  11. Carin says:

I mean, Hatefuck? Dude, get over it. Cockslapping? OUTRAGE!

  12. serr8d says:

There’s nothing remaining of the existing post, is there? Caleb Howe’s link is dead.

The memory hole claims another one.

  13. happyfeet says:

I think Barack Obama thinks that when muslim guys murder American soldier people it’s just the natural order of things. For sure I know M’chelle does. If I were an Israeli I would make particular note of this I think.

  14. meya says:

Oh I’m sorry, VERY sexist. Degrading and all that hufftyness.

“So based on your most recent delve into the typed word, you’ve just reinforced the notion that you and your lefty cohorts are nasty sexists with no interest in facts or consequences. Case closed.”

This could alienate all those cool “south park republicans.”

  15. meya says:

“he’s been contacted by 200 men who say they were falsely accused of domestic violence by foreign women seeking green cards, which, under the Violence Against Women Act, they can get by simply claiming abuse.”

You get the green card by being married, but if there’s abuse, you don’t need the abuser. You don’t get the card from the abuse, you get to go through the process without the abuser.

  16. serr8d says:

Just so this sort of loss doesn’t happen again for lack of the proper tools, I point you to Gadwin Print Screen, the best snapshooter on the web. Free and easy; works on anything.

    Use it or lose it.

  17. alppuccino says:

The memory hole claims another one

Just like “The Great Saudi Bow”.

  18. Dan Collins says:

Caleb’s got screen shots. I’m sure he can post them somewhere else.

  19. alppuccino says:

    Has Megan McCain weighed in?

  20. Dan Collins says:

meya doesn’t care that people are being saddled with the shame of the tag “abuser” without proper investigation. She doesn’t care that they’re being themselves abused, with no recourse. BFD, they’re just American citizens and men.

  21. JHoward says:

Probably Persons of Conscience should write their Congresspersons when addressing grievances involving sexism, meya. Given government’s recent, ah, magnanimity toward assisting the private sector, perhaps now more than ever. Equality is well within grasp, one believes (and is freshly assured in this our era of hope and change, presumably of the variety necessary to finally create equality and bliss for nearly all).

And Congresspersons are said to jump at the chance to serve not only their constituents but the Constitution they were sworn to uphold.

Frankly, and if I may so state, I think that it’s a darn shame the good Mr. Biden was retired elected to the second highest office in the land where he can no longer see to legislating extra equal rights for previously un-extra equal women, especially those rendered not American by the tragic coincidence of their not being American (and for which there are extra-equal ways and means, if you know what I mean). For if good sir were still in state office, surely he could be petitioned to immediately and without hesitation and promptly further the work he’s done for The American People concerning stamping out, ah, sexism.

Anyway. Write, dear meya. You’re our only hope.

  22. alppuccino says:

Careful thor. You may have to register that stiffy as an automatic weapon.

  23. JHoward says:

You get the green card by being married, but if there’s abuse, you don’t need the abuser. You don’t get the card from the abuse, you get to go through the process without the abuser.

Why meya. If I didn’t know better I’d say that was the unfortunate statement of someone without an entirely comprehensive view of the workings of courts and the law. Or, if you prefer, the bench and bar.

Or, if you prefer, the legislature, the bench, and bar, three entities that surely shall never co-mingle their, ah, business.

    Oh you silly you.

  24. Pablo says:

You get the green card by being married, but if there’s abuse, you don’t need the abuser.

    Wrong.

You don’t get the card from the abuse, you get to go through the process without the abuser.

    Also wrong.

    So, what else is new?

  25. SBP says:

I think it’s been made pretty clear in other posts that SFAG is a member of the “all heterosexual sex is rape” school of feminism rather than the “I can be more promiscuous than ANY guy” school of feminism.

  26. JHoward says:

Would that be by choice or by circumstance, SBP?

  27. SBP says:

I think sore and meya should go tell the gals at Pandagon that hatefuck lists are just kewel.

Thor should make sure to tell them about the teenage Russian sex slave he was bragging about when he first oozed on to this site.

  28. SBP says:

#31: my informal observations indicate that the “Man = Teh RAPIST” types tend to be the ones that no one would want to have sex with anyway, while the “Feminism = it’s okay to be a big ol’ slut” types tend to be at least marginally attractive, but I don’t have any hard data.

Maybe SFAG could apply her vaunted knowledge of statistics and let us all know whether that’s the case.

  29. SBP says:

You sure lie a lot, Prof. Lie-Peddles.

    Oh, really.

Someday when I have more time I’ll tell you all about Victoria, she was Oleg’s and I’s live-in maid who we alternated boning when she wasn’t cleaning and cooking. We rescued her from the whore line down at the Dynamo perahood and made an honest two-timing house slave out of her. And she liked it! She really liked it! What more could a 19-year-old village slut ask for than two employed assholes and a klossney pad with a refrigerator full of beer and vodka? Funniest thing was what our Russian girlfriends said about little Vic – not a fuckin’ thing. I miss that place.

I see you’re suffering from this weird fixation that I ride a bike, too.

That’s supposed to be an insult? Really?

  30. Todd, the Sofa King says:

    I’m beginning to understand jihad

  31. SBP says:

She didn’t have to have sex with anyone. She could leave any time she wanted.

Whatever you say, thor. She willingly had sex with a world-class slimeball like you.

I wonder if she was really 19.

  32. LTC John says:

#5 – I think that shall not replace MacArthur’s “Duty, Honor, Country” speech just yet in the annals of Great Works…

  33. SBP says:

BTW, thor, I get to have sex with a woman without having to pay her anything.

So no, I’m hardly “jealous” of your whores. “Pitying” might be closer to the mark, if you weren’t such a fucking scumbag, so I’ll reserve that for the poor girl who was forced to have sex with you as an alternative to starvation.

  34. SBP says:

How many mail-order brides have you gone through now, thor? Four or five, wasn’t it?

  35. LTC John says:

    #40, er, #35 that is…

  36. SBP says:

actually I think she was a little older.

Yeah, I’ll bet you were really conscientious about checking her ID.

    Scumbag.

  37. SBP says:

Your empty pockets dictate you options, eh, wittle wanna-spasm.

No, I could afford a whore if I wanted one.

    I don’t.

We all know that you’re a clumsy liar, thor.

And I haven’t forgotten what you said about my wife before.

Go for it, asshole. It won’t make things any worse for you, should we ever happen to meet in person.

And here I thought we were making progress.

  40. Joe says:

Speaking of empathy, again, why has Obama still not spoken to the political and terroristic murder of Pvt. William Long? Perhaps empathetic people such as Dr. Tiller are only worth our empathy? Remember, the term “Islamist” is only a manufactured tag meant to demonize people, whereas “Christianist” is spot on.

Becuase Obama is going on a mid east peace mission and wants to emphasize his Muslim roots, but comforting Tiller’s family plays right to his pro choice base. It is politics man, politics.

  41. SBP says:

I see. Quoting what you said, accurately, and providing a link to the quote in context is “lying”.

    Whatever you say, thor.

  42. Andrew the Noisy says:

Me too. With such good little progressives commenting on our scorched wingnut souls, how could we fail?

Yet progress is borne ever away, like boats ceaselessly into the past or something.

  43. Joe says:

But if the reactions to the death of Tiller mean anything, the “Christian Taliban,” as conservative religious figures are often called, isn’t living up to its namesake. If “Christianists” were anything like actual religious fascists they would applaud Tiller’s murder as a “heroic martyrdom operation” and suborn further mayhem.

Radical Islamists revel in death. Just witness the videos that suicide bombers record before they carry out their murderous task or listen to the homicidal exhortations of extremist imams. Murder — particularly of the unarmed and innocent — is a righteous deed for these people. The manifestos of Islamic militant groups are replete with paeans to killing infidels. When a suicide bomb goes off in Israel, Palestinian terrorist factions compete to claim responsibility for the carnage.

There is no appreciable number of people in this country, religious Christians or otherwise, who support the murder of abortion doctors. The same cannot be said of Muslims who support suicide bombings in the name of their religion.

The lie about Christians promoting the killling of Tiller

  44. Rob Crawford says:

    Aw, fuck it.

You assholes can’t ignore the goddamned pieces of shit. You can’t help but be led into irrelevancies by the fucking fascists who demand you not speak about what you want. I get the feeling that your concerns for the status and course of this nation are less important than your desire to get into pissing contests with whor and the like.

  45. Darleen says:

    to quote Little Miss Attila

A few of you are going to suggest, not without cause, that the term “hate-fuck” may not be synonymous with “rape.” To me, that is a bit theoretical, since the alternative to my “hate-fuck = rape” reading rests on the idea of a “consensual hate-fuck.” Certainly it’s theoretically possible, but I doubt any of the women I know (some of whom have decidedly exotic tastes) would agree to sex under the following terms: “I despise you and everything you stand for, and I want to have rough sex with you to express my loathing, the result of which would be an unplanned pregnancy that I will bail out on, and I will take special glee in the fact that your ethic doesn’t allow you to abort the fetus. I intend for the experience to be a source of humiliation for you.”

And someone is going to consent to that, for the thrill of it all? Highly theoretical.

  46. Pablo says:

You don’t get the card from the abuse, you get to go through the process without the abuser.

You don’t get the groceries from the abuse allegation, you get to go to the grocery store and take the groceries without the alleged abuser.

    Yawn.
    Yawn.

  47. JHoward says:

    Like I said:

“You don’t get the card from the abuse, you get to go through the process without the abuser.”

    Like I said, meya, #28.

  48. Matt says:

Men are only misogynists in the left’s mind when they are denying woman abortions. I mean honestly, I can understand how meya can write this off- if some right wing publication (say the Limbaugh letter) came out with an article entitled “Liberal woman who should be grudge fucked” I’d be just as outraged. Sure, I’m sure I’d dislike some of the woman listed but its still disgusting and dislike is a long way from hate fucking/raping a woman. I know he’d never put something in there but if he did, Limbaugh would be hearing from me.

  49. SBP says:

I don’t have to “explain” anything, thor.

    Your words speak for themselves.

    Sorry.

  50. Matt says:

You know what, I said I don’t understand but I really do understand- to the left, if you disagree with someone, usually the hate is so overwhelming your anger typical causes you to completely overeact (see code pink, anti war protesters, Bush is Hitler people, etc). Maybe its hyperbole but I’m sure there’s woman Olberman would like to see grudge fucked.

  51. JHoward says:

What’s the more offensive, meya, girlie magazines and choice on the one hand, or known sexist oppression by a self-enriching government on the other?

  52. JD says:

We cannot have the inconveniently timed murder of an American serviceman by a Muslim get in the way of Teh One’s Magical Healing Tour through the Middle East. The murder of a butcher, on the other hand, should be exploited for maximum political advantage.

  53. ducktrapper says:

Correction. Not, “I can’t help you” but rather “I’d LIKE to help you son but you’re too young to vote”.
Just see all of what’s his name’s postings as ***FNORD*** and pass them by w/o reading or comment. He’ll eventually tire.

  54. Joe says:

Darleen, the term hate fuck does not necessarily mean rape, but it could. So it is a term that is definitely outside of polite society.

Unless you are refering to doing it to conservatives, then it is okay.

  55. JD says:

You are all just hard throbbing tools og teh patriarchy. And racist.

    And, Kyoto.

  56. LTC John says:

    FNORD? How about Burma Shave?

  57. JD says:

If we are talking shaving … I prefer the Brazilian ;-)

  58. Matt says:

There was a piece copied in the St. Pete Times today entitled “Why Tiller was Special”- was a Slate piece. Seriously, he was “special” ? That’s the name of your piece of shit article ? So murdering viable babies gets you termed “special”???

One thing that struck me this morning- he went to church so I assume he believed he was a Christian – I can safely say, I take solace in the fact that he had to stand before God and answer for every one of those abortions and every one of those lives he took. Where he ended up is anybody guess but I can’t imagine God said “well done my good and faithful servant.”

  59. Pablo says:

    Like I said, meya, #28.

J.Howard, I think meya thought you were saying that if you’re an immigrant spouse and you get punched in the face, a green card simply materializes.

We might need a statute to protect the reality challenged.

  60. JD says:

If any of you feel like getting your blood pressure up, go find the clip from the Dan Rather segment on Rachel MadCow’s show last night.

  61. happyfeet says:

hate fucking is gay. You know what are tasty is bananas.

  62. Wm T Sherman says:

Commenters at a Muslim site I looked at are saying good riddance to Dr. Tiller.

  63. slackjawedyokel says:

LTC John (or anyone): Please correct me if I’m wrong (as it’s been some 20 years since I’ve looked in the Awards Manual), but I think those two young soldiers shot in Little Rock meet the criteria for the Purple Heart Medal just as surely as if they had been casualties in Iraq or Afghanistan. I wonder if anyone in the Army chain of command is taking steps to see that they receive it.

  64. Andrew the Noisy says:

It’s really shocking that playboy published a sexist article. Now everyone will see right through “I read it for the articles” and think that playboy consumers have been sexist all along.

Huh. All this time I thought hatefucking was about power, not sex.

    How wrong I’ve been.

  65. LTC John says:

    slack,

I’ll look and get back to this in a while. My first thought is “possibly” – the block being that someone would have to classify this not as a “man casued disaster” but enemy action. Being a US citizen, the killer might nt get that classification. But I’ll still look.

  66. Bob Reed says:

Obama can’t hand wring about the soldiers shot at the recruiting station, at least like he did fir Tiller, for a few obvious reasons…

    1) The shooter was a black male. Can’t call attention to that at all!…
    2) The shooter was a muslim convert. Ditto # 1, and add that it may screw up his full court press to convince the muslims that we’re their buddies and they are our…
    3) The shooter despised the US and the US military; most of Obama’s base do too. So to talk bad in any way about him would enrage his base…
    4) The way most of them think, these poor young soildiers had it coming; they knew they were in harms just as much as if they’d been in Bagdad…

So, while it’s yet another travesty perpetrated for, you know, the fairness, it simply the way Obama rolls…

    Makes.Me.Effin.Sick…

  67. Obstreperous Infidel says:

    Bingo, Bob.

  68. Bob Reed says:

    Sorry thor,

It’s not a manufactured outrage; it’s based on percieved unfairness, love for our military men and women, and a proud devotion to our constitution and our nation that was instilled in me when I was a member of their ranks…

There’s absolutely no good excuse why the President, the commander in chief of the armed forces, hasn’t spoken out about this; at least to offer his condolences to the families and indeed the entire city for this ugly and harrowing spectacle…

And I left out one other reason for the mum treatment before. It might have something to do with the fact that this could be construed by some, as a terrorist attack inside the US…

    Small in scale-yes…

Home grown-yes; but that seems to be a recurring and disturbing theme in some parts of the muslim community here…

But I truly think they fear this being a losing situation all the way around unless it is swept quickly, and totally, under the rug…

So while you may think some of my connections a stretch, they are faaaar from contrived nor are they just another partisan connivance…

    That’s not how I roll!

And, maybe more importantly; what did Viktoriya look like..?

  69. happyfeet says:

that is not contrived at all. Barack Obama pisses on Christians because his dirty socialist media like NPR and Newsweek have worked very very hard to establish the equation that stupid filthy Christians = Republicans. He can’t condemn violent bloodthirsty U.S. soldier-killing muslims cause of NPR says they’re only violent cause we made them that way.

Barack Hussein Obama is a sick sick fucked in the head man what is not healthy for our little country.

  70. Carin says:

It’s not manufactured outrage, because I’m not outraged. I’d have to expect something different to be truly outraged.

Obama expressed what he did for Tiller’s murder because he’s courting support of those who see this as teh MOST IMPORATANT thing that happened this week.

He could care less about support from those who would be upset over the murder and wounding of our men in uniform.

  71. McGehee says:

I’ll look and get back to this in a while. My first thought is “possibly” – the block being that someone would have to classify this not as a “man caused disaster” but enemy action. Being a US citizen, the killer might not get that classification.

I’ve thought that distinction is bullshit since the what’s-his-name terror suspect that JunkYard Blog thought might be McVeigh’s John Doe #2 accomplice, but if it disqualifies those Marines from a PH, even more so.

  72. Viktorya says:

I miss you, Comrade Needledick! Please to being repatriated!

  73. Jeffersonian says:

So now it’s not about what he says it’s about what he doesn’t say.

Isn’t the contrast illuminating, thor? I mean, the two Little Rock guys worked for Obama…you’d think they’d merit some sort of statement.

  74. JD says:

Bob Reed @ #80 – Exactly. And it is fucking disgusting. The MSM is absolutely complicit in this as well.

How long did it take him to respond to Tiller’s murder, and dispatch the FBI?

  75. JD says:

    Jeffersonian – worked for Obama?

  76. Jeffersonian says:

    Jeffersonian – worked for Obama?

Obama == CiC of the US Military

  77. McGehee says:

JD: Obama is the Marines’ commander-in-chief, I think is what he means.

  78. McGehee says:

Jinx! I owe you a Coke.

  79. JD says:

Gotcha, Jeffersonian. I thought you meant that the murdering little fucks had worked for Barcky. No doubt they voted for Teh One.

  80. JD says:

So I just went to http://www.firedoglake.com and http://www.huffingpost.com and SHOCKA, neither one of them has even one post or link to an article about the murdered US soldier. I quit counting at just shy on infinity about the evils of opposing partial-birth abortion and the racism of RethugliKKKans.

  81. gus says:

Could we compile a list of hatefuck libs??
    I doubt it.
Who would fuck a lib woman? Ewwwwwwwwww.

  82. Bob Reed says:

    JD,

The story of the soldier’s shooting is too inconvenient for them; it doesn’t conform to the approved memes list…

Funny that the “news” would be conditioned that way, eh?

  83. Mikey NTH says:

And as the summer goes on, USCG Auxiliarists – uniformed civilian volunteers who assist the Coast Guard with non-milititary, non-law enforcement duties – will be out on the waters and on land doing public safety patrols, public affairs, vessel inspections, etc.

I wonder if any of them will be targeted.

  84. bonk bonk says:

And, maybe more importantly; what did Viktoriya look like..?

She was totally bonkable, totally nice and normal. She did cook and clean and this may sound weird, but she slept in the kitchen when our girlfriends slept over. Vicki was out maid, no really, we didn’t hire her to bonk us. That just sort’a happened.

  85. ducktrapper says:

RE: 84. Gus? I would! Then I’d break their little bleeding heart before they break mine.

  86. Bob Reed says:

    Slept in the kitchen..?

Man y’all could have at least provided her a room…

Maybe with bonk beds or somethin’…

You did pay her more than 10 bucks a week I hope…

  87. JD says:

Bob – It is disgusting. I have to admit that I expected a post or two, along the lines of “of course we denounce this”, unlike the evil reichwingers who bathe in the blood of innocents, or something to that effect.

  88. Jeff G. says:

    3 Patterico links. Cool.

I’d go over and comment, but, well … you know.

    Hey. At least I didn’t waste $4.95.

  89. LTC John says:

    (3) While serving with friendly foreign forces engaged in an armed conflict against an opposing armed force in
which the United States is not a belligerent party.
    (4) As the result of an act of any such enemy of opposing Armed Forces.
    (5) As the result of an act of any hostile foreign force.
    (6) After 28 March 1973, as the result of an international terrorist attack against the United States or a foreign
nation friendly to the United States, recognized as such an attack by the Secretary of Army, or jointly by the
Secretaries of the separate armed services concerned if persons from more than one service are wounded in the attack.
    (7) After 28 March 1973, as the result of military operations while serving outside the territory of the United States
as part of a peacekeeping force.
    (8) Members killed or wounded in action by friendly fire. In accordance with 10 USC 1129 for award of the Purple Heart, the Secretary of the Army will treat a member of the Armed Forces described in (a), below, in the same manner
as a member who is killed or wounded in action as the result of an act of an enemy of the United States.”

So it looks like it would be up to the Secretary of the Army to say yea or nay, per (6).

  90. JD says:

LtC John – That would make it a bit uncomfortable for Teh One, who appears to want to pretend that this did not happen, no?

  91. Dan Collins says:

One is critical of Patterico, re Salatan. One is supportive of the way that he’s framed an issue. One links to DRJ.

On the plus side, that’s where Poon appears to have gone.

  92. happyfeet says:

    yup. that’s three.

  93. happyfeet says:

    three Patterico links!

but the important thing is that you are back. You have been missed.

  94. Dan Collins says:

Honestly, Jeff, I’d rather fight with you, have you boot me off, and have you resume posting.

  95. alppuccino says:

With the press as it is, Obama is probably keeping “honoring William Long” in his back pocket, just in case his poll numbers drop.

  96. happyfeet says:

please to be no fighting. DRJ is from Texas and she is very nice. Hey here is a not at all homoerotical “video portrait” of Zachary Quinto what you can click on and is full of milky goodness or else here are the slutty wedding dresses.

  97. LTC John says:

Happyfeet is right – you don’t want to fight Jeff. That could hurt really bad. Really, really bad.

  98. Jeff G. says:

Just sayin’ I can’t comment over there.

    Having been banned.

Which reminds me: you know who hasn’t been banned here? SEK. Or Patterico.

Read all about it in my new Hot Air column.

  99. slackjawedyokel says:

LTC John — Thanks for the research. Maybe a petition to the newly appointed Secretary of the Army is in order.

  100. Dan Collins says:

That’s true, LTC John, but I’ve been posting here since wackowoman, and I want Jeff back full time. I’m just as tired of it as everyone else.

Because of the readership Jeff’s created here, I’ve got far more than I deserve. People thank me for links, but the only thing I can tell them is it’s Jeff’s site and I only link what I think is good. I don’t care about the rest of the extracurriculars. I even linked Allah Pundit, recently. Hell, if Markos wrote something that made sense, I’d link him.

  101. happyfeet says:

Being born into Barack Obama’s America is a congenital birth defect I think.

  102. Bob Reed says:

    Jeff G,

Don’t worry, comment here, where we value your take on issues as well as your unique insight…

You have the intellecyual honesty and true interest in debate to not ban people from the sight, regardless of how dogmatic, misinformed, or simple effed up their opinions may be…

Hell, you even allow the unabashed agent provacateurs their say here…

That’s among the reasons this is such a great site

  103. gus says:

Jeff what got you banned at Patterico. If you got banned. I cannot be far behind!!

  104. Dan Collins says:

Jeff pointed out Patterico’s incoherence on “temperate” political speech.

  105. gus says:

I was told that using the term “mulatto” in reference to Opie was “offensive” on Gateway Pundit. Not by the host but by a content contributor. I pointed out that Opie was indeed EXACTLY THAT. The “offended” party was not deterred from asking me to censor myself. Dumb people do dumb things. Jeff getting banned sounds pretty dumb to me. The only thing I think ought get someone banned is PURPOSEFUL HOSTILITY toward the HOST on a continuing basis.

  106. McGehee says:

The “offended” party was not deterred from asking me to censor myself.

To which the correct reply, for future reference, is: “Go [CENSORED] yourself.”

Though he probably wouldn’t get it.

  107. happyfeet says:

Commenting on other blogs is hard. I get banned a lot just after the one comment. It hurts. It really does. You know who are the most censorious are the academics. Not sure why that is.

  108. happyfeet says:

oh. Yes I know censorious isn’t exactly the right word but it should be I think and it’s my comment.

  109. Brian says:

Dan – the supreme irony of this is that Playboy the Magazine usually lambasts readers who submit letters that they feel demean or degrade women (i.e., Is the backhand or open-palm slap more appropriate to rejection of my demands for a2m?). Reliably, they raise their highballs in tribute to Miss Manners when it comes to the fairer sex.

Somehow, Mary Katherine Ham has unlocked the savage beast pulsing beneath the pink, popped collars of Playboy’s pansy porn editors.

I only had a subscription once off Amazon when it was like $14 for a year. It was not renewed when I discovered that they gave more pages to interviews with Keith Olbermann than to their centerfolds. Still, the biggest gash I’ve seen in print.

  110. JD says:

Heffner and I went to the same university, so I am not going to bash on him. His staff at the magazine on the other hand …

Olberdouchenozzle – The biggest gash ever in print. Bravo, Brian!

  111. B Moe says:

Dan – the supreme irony of this is that Playboy the Magazine usually lambasts readers who submit letters that they feel demean or degrade women….

But that is the whole point Brian, these aren’t real women, they are Conservatives and Republicans.

They aren’t authentic. They don’t count.

  112. meya says:

“Huh. All this time I thought hatefucking was about power, not sex.

    How wrong I’ve been.”

And all this time i thought sexism was about power, not sex. But when you’re new to gender issues, its normal to be wrong.

“I doubt any of the women I know (some of whom have decidedly exotic tastes) would agree to sex under the following terms: “I despise you and everything you stand for, and I want to have rough sex with you to express my loathing, the result of which would be an unplanned pregnancy that I will bail out on, and I will take special glee in the fact that your ethic doesn’t allow you to abort the fetus. I intend for the experience to be a source of humiliation for you.””

This hatefuck fellow, like many another romeo, may not be quite so honest and self-exposed in their approach

  113. B Moe says:

And all this time i thought sexism was about power, not sex. But when you’re new to gender issues, its normal to be wrong.

Admitting you have a problem is the first step.

  114. Makewi says:

Huh, meya taking a contrarian opinion on yet another thread. What a surprise.

  115. JHo says:

But when you’re new to gender issues, its normal to be wrong.

What a smartasses remark, and so easily turned back on yourself, meya…

  116. B Moe says:

Huh, meya taking a contrarian opinion on yet another thread.

Is she? I can’t figure out what her opinion is, other than her admission that gender feminism is all about the power and has jack shit to do with equality.

  117. JHo says:

    bmoe beat ya to it.

    Rightly so.

Fun to be so transparently wrong all the time, is it? Does the anonymity shield you from embarrassment?

  118. Makewi says:

Is she? I can’t figure out what her opinion is, other than her admission that gender feminism is all about the power and has jack shit to do with equality.

Don’t forget that Playboy has always been sexist, as have its consumers, so really this is sort of fake outrage. She’s very careful to skip over the other parts of the outrage, like the fact that they thought it would be cool to list a group of Republican women it might be fun to rape.

  119. serr8d says:

Would someone please tell me when Patterico un-bans Jeff and apologizes for his transgressions, so’s I can maybe go back there occasionally?

Until then, there’s no need to visit or read his stuff. My RSS reader is full of secondary, but decent blogs that I simply don’t have time to read, except for a quick glance at the post titles. Sometimes not even that. I refuse to waste my time reading a site that’s banned my favorite writer.

To do so would seem…in bad form.

  120. Makewi says:

All women are Republican, how silly of me. Rape is merely sexist.

Motherfuckin’ right. Banning people is for hatequeefers.

If they banned Jeff I will flagpinfuck Patterico and farthump Karl.

Ain’t right! Ain’t American! Ain’t how you bake a pie.

  122. Dr. Outrage says:

Banning should be banned entirely. You ban someone and they just wear a banned aide, come back under a different nick name, squat and pee.

You have to keep you wits about you. Ride the tall horse. You may eat down on the small fish and think you’re a big fish, but that don’t explain a sperm whale. Can’t stop the swimmers. Early bird gets the egg! Big time penetrators, upstream renegades. Merciless outlaws. Sow and reap. Seeds, with tails. Banning is birth control.

So why pay attention to the ignorant cunt? Ignore her. Don’t waste your life “debating” her.

FREE YOURSELF FROM THE TYRANNY OF THE TROLLS!!!!
