I’ve been making some of the same points, too, with respect to Obama’s dad’s ideas of Afro-Socialism, which differ from regular socialism mostly insofar as they are Afro. Being of “Black Irish” extraction, I’ve been busily formulating my own socialism, Wafro-Socialism, which differs from regular socialism mostly insofar as it is Wafro.

Obama senior…soon became a public critic of Kenyatta’s growing favoritism toward the Kikuyu tribe, over Obama’s Luos.
FWIW, one of the big issues when I was there was that Luo men traditionally don’t circumcise. I’m not sure McCain should go after that tomorrow night, though.
