   I’m not proud to admit I did that to a scanner, a new telephone, and a camera. But that was before I learned to control myself and nobody was around to become alarmed and no animals were harmed. It felt great all three times.

   I threw a calculator out an 8th-floor dorm window, once. It shattered most satisfactorily, fountaining the loading area with pretty, sparkly fragments.

   Bad luck was, a staff resident was walking through the parking lot just then and saw where it came from, walked upstairs and wrote me up. My defense, that it crapped out right in the middle of a final in which I was using it, was sufficient to get me off lightly.
