Olberdouche on McCain/Lobbyist Article in NYT [Dan Collins]

“Is this combustible? I mean, given that McCain hardly beat Huckabee by more than Obama beat Hillary?”

I’d like to apologize. It’s been a very busy evening, story-wise, and I’ve been compelled to help my daughter with her math and one of my sons with a report on Dante Alighieri, so I haven’t been able to do much.

Not to [tongue my own junk], or anything:

Bonus TNR Angle on the McCain Story
The McCain campaign is apparently blaming TNR for forcing the Times’ hand on this story. We can’t yet confirm that. But we can say this: TNR correspondent Gabe Sherman is working on a piece about the Times’ foot-dragging on the McCain story, and the back-and-forth within the paper about whether to publish it. Gabe’s story will be online tomorrow.

Then what’s with the word blaming? They’re always the victim.

Dan, I don’t believe in victimless crimes, but I do believe in TMI bro.

A word of advice. During my undergrad at a conservative Roman Catholic liberal arts school, I wrote a paper entitled, “The Divine Comedy: Neither Divine nor a Comedy.” My incredibly hot Literary Traditions prof covered my paper in red ink comments, then filled four sheets of unlined paper front and back with yet more comments. The first sentence on the first comment page was: “Were you drunk when you wrote this?” It was my first F, but a good one.

Go with the flow, my friend. The flow.

  3. Dan Collins says:

Well, I dunno. I’m a bit of a Dantiste, actually.

Well, if you spelled the last name without googling my hat’s off.

I wonder why this is suddenly news while no one is talking about this.

The truth will set you free they say, but the truth plus $100,000 will set you even freer. That’s the conclusion our good friend Larry Sinclair has come to after considering the offer we made him yesterday: $10,000 to take a polygraph test over his Barack Obama sex and drugs claims, and $100,000 if he passes it.

After communicating via email to work out the logistics of the challenge, we were able to reach an agreement. Now, the plan is to get together with Sinclair and one of the best polygraph experts in the country, and ask him some questions – with the camera rolling, of course. As more details are made available we will post it here.

    Anyone care to guess?

  6. Alcyoneus says:

I have it on good authority that Obama is not black. He just plays a black man on TV. And we all know that TV stars are all into sex and drugs. Ergo, by an a fortiori argument, Sinclair will be vindicated by the polygraph test, but the polygraph itself will be vilified as a racist and be scandalized by Al Sharpton while paying Jesse Jackson’s children for “consulting” arrangements. The polygraph is the real loser her, Pablo.

TNR sure is in a hurry to get that McCain “news” out there. Not so much when it comes to investigating phony claims by their left-wing soldiers though.

  8. That Didn’t Take Long

Message to McCain: these people in the media are not your friends:
    Early in Senator John McCai…
    Popularity: unranked [?]…
