The BBC has frequently been accused of having a liberal bias. But now the corporation’s own staff appear to have confirmed this by revealing their political views on the networking website Facebook.A survey of BBC employees with profiles on the site showed that 11 times more of them class themselves as “liberal” than “conservative”.
Beware the academy-MSM complex.
“Duties include performing to a web cam for clients or customers fantasies. Duties involve explicit sexual dialogue which may cause embarrassment for some people.”
The advertisement cautions applicants that the job is not suitable for under 18s but adds: “No experience needed as training can be provided.”
The would-be employer adds: “There is no obligation to consider making an application for this vacancy. However, if you feel it is suitable for you, please discuss it further with an advisor.
“This vacancy meets the requirements of the National Minimum Wage Act. Tax Credits could top up your earnings.”
The Scottish Executive, which recently declared itself a bona fide government, announced that all medical prescriptions will be free in Scotland.
The English would not only have to pay the taxes which make possible these free drugs, but also pay on top for their own drugs.
As Graham Brady, that very English Conservative MP, demanded of Gordon Brown at Prime Minister’s Question Time on Wednesday: “Why should my constituents pay more tax so that the Prime Minister’s constituents pay no prescription charges?”
Answer came there none, just evasion in a Scottish brogue.
The offer of free drugs is the climax of a string of iniquities, and the message was clear: the English are second-class citizens in their own country.
Scots already get free eye care and dental check-ups, and access to cancer drugs denied to patients who happen to be English.
Elderly Scots get free residential care, while in England, the Government takes away old people’s savings, houses and anything else they may want to leave their children in order to pay for their twilight years.
Also, in the early years of school, Scottish children will soon be taught in classes as small as 18, while English children have to struggle for attention in classes of up to 30.
And when they go to university, Scottish students have free tuition, while English ones have to pay £3,000 a year, swamping them under mountains of debt.
In a particularly nasty EU-induced twist, students from France, Germany or any other EU country are also entitled to free tuition at Scottish universities; but English students, whose parents’ taxes make such free tuition for these other Europeans possible, still have to pay the annual fees.
For a country that prides itself on fair play, this is not just annoying: it is a blood-boiling moral outrage.
I love the Scots, but I can understand how the English are steamed about this. In fact, from my economic vantage, it’s a bit like holding up the Frosts as exactly the kind of family that S-CHIP ought to be serving–and even expanded to serve more of.
I’m so confused by this nuttiness – why are the English agreeing to this? Why don’t they just cut funding for these Scottish handouts? I’d be pissed too – that’s just plain ridiculous!
The Scots are trying to convince the English to let them go. Somewhere north of Strathclyde there’s an evil Hamish MacRove at work in his lair, carrying on the ancient family tradition.
