Those ethical lines? It is human instinct at its basest level \u00c3\u00a2\u00e2\u201a\u00ac\u00e2\u20ac\u009d ask any good parent (who isn\u00c3\u00a2\u00e2\u201a\u00ac\u00e2\u201e\u00a2t involved in an abuse and neglect case, since I\u00c3\u00a2\u00e2\u201a\u00ac\u00e2\u201e\u00a2ve seen far too many of those in my lifetime to know that some parents don\u00c3\u00a2\u00e2\u201a\u00ac\u00e2\u201e\u00a2t have this trait) about the ache they feel when their child cries out in the night.
