Well, that’s what he said in so many words.<\/a><\/p>\n

Pardon me for sounding all Visigothy, Mssrs. Moran and Frum, et al., but it sure does seem to me that Obama is telling the Russians — in a message he wants passed along to Putin — that, once he’s re-elected, he can drop all facades and surrender the US strategic nuclear advantage.\u00a0 Killing off Reaganism, as so many of his university-era papers proposed to do.\u00a0 To make the world more “fair.”<\/p>\n

Why,\u00a0 it’s almost as if Obama saw the defeat of the former Soviet Union as some unfortunate world occurrence in need of rectification. And that, given a second term — after, he hopes, being elected on phony “pragmatism,” a media-fueled and enabled propaganda campaign, a billion dollar negative campaign ad blitz, and the careful and intentional Balkanization (hah! fitting, that!) of the electorate — he will happily work from the far left and against the will of the majority of Americans, whom Obama and his wife and his entire cadre of intellectual fellow travelers, though they pretend to champion them, clearly despise, to bring about a more pleasing balance to world power.\u00a0 For the fairness<\/em>.<\/p>\n

But hey:\u00a0 maybe this is just another example of how the President is simply in over his head.\u00a0 I mean, how can any “sane” conservative see anything malicious or intentional in such a minor mic gaffe?<\/p>\n

It’s paranoia.\u00a0 It’s far-right fringe right far fringy rightwing far far extremist extremism on the wignut far extreme fringe, is what it is.\u00a0 Plus, you know — unhelpful<\/em>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
