So why in the world would Trayvon Martin&#8217;s <em>parents<\/em> be <a href=\"http:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/Big-Government\/2012\/03\/26\/Martin-parents-Congress\">testifying before Congress<\/a>? &#8212;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.huffingtonpost.com\/2012\/03\/26\/treyvon-martin-parents-capitol-hill_n_1381089.html\"> mock or no mock<\/a>?<\/p>\n<p>Oh, right:\u00a0 Fast and Furious ended up arming Mexican drug cartels and getting US law enforcement agents and a lot of innocent people dead. Therefore, it can&#8217;t be effectively used to <a href=\"http:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2012\/03\/20\/congressmen-outraged-over-holder-anti-gun-brainwash-video\/\">&#8220;brainwash&#8221; <\/a>the citizenry of this country into hating their Second Amendment rights.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/content.bitsontherun.com\/players\/vvy0FSoM-svqBtzyp.html\" frameborder=\"0\" scrolling=\"auto\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>So, if at first you don&#8217;t succeed&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Here&#8217;s the thing:\u00a0 <em>every sentient being<\/em> NOT afraid of being called a racist or of being portrayed as a HATER knows that, from what they&#8217;ve been able to glean from the facts in this case &#8212; and that is largely in spite of the legacy media&#8217;s early attempts to create a specific narrative of events &#8212; the Florida &#8220;stand your ground&#8221; law <em>worked<\/em> precisely as it was intended to work:\u00a0 Zimmerman, a neighborhood watch volunteer, was struck and being beaten by Trayvon Martin, and was indeed in real physical peril.\u00a0 <em>Why<\/em> he was struck is still murky, but it is also largely irrelevant, with respect to the law in question &#8211;<em>&#8211; unless Zimmerman initiated the scuffle<\/em>.\u00a0 Witnesses seem to suggest that isn&#8217;t the case.\u00a0 And being followed by neighborhood watch as a stranger in a neighorhood that had experienced break-ins is not grounds for assault.<\/p>\n<p>Unfortunately, the Left knows that GOP politicians will run scared and stuttering from this case &#8212; and so they will use Congressional testimony from the parents as theater to suggest we need some sort of national soul-searching on race.\u00a0 And they will look to capitalize on any GOP grousing as proof of latent racism on the part of those who don&#8217;t fall for this propaganda charade.\u00a0 They don&#8217;t need actual Congressional hearings when they can simply fake them and have a complicit press cover them as if they&#8217;re legitimate.\u00a0 In fact, this way works even <em>better<\/em>, for their purposes &#8212; because the testimony is completely one sided!<\/p>\n<p>Forget that the real racialism here is being stoked by cynical race hustlers and leftwing politicians.\u00a0 Forget that the New Black Panthers have put a bounty on a private citizen &#8212; a &#8220;pussy ass cracker&#8221; who just inconveniently happens to be brown-skinned and half Peruvian.\u00a0 Forget that the mother of Trayvon Martin now has a financial motivation to spread the story and her dead son&#8217;s image.\u00a0 Forget that Martin himself, who Tweeted under\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2012\/03\/26\/the-daily-caller-obtains-trayvon-martins-tweets\/\">\u201cNO_LIMIT_NIGGA,\u201d<\/a> had in earlier incidents been found with a bag containing women&#8217;s jewelry, etc.<\/p>\n<p>This is cynical, Stalinist-style politics at its very worst.\u00a0 And it only works in a climate of carefully manufactured political correctness &#8212; and<em> even then<\/em>, only if it used <a href=\"http:\/\/proteinwisdom.com\/?p=38457\">by anti-foundationalist<\/a> &#8220;progressives&#8221; who no longer feel the need to answer charges of hypocrisy or &#8220;unfairness&#8221; because they have already granted themselves the circular license that comes with having attained a kind of secular grace:\u00a0 they are good, therefore all they do is righteous.\u00a0 We are dealing with a <em>will to power<\/em> &#8212; a secularized re-imagining of\u00a0a peculiar strain of self-serving 13th Century Germanic theology espoused by, eg. Meister Eckhart.<\/p>\n<p>We no longer live in a free country.\u00a0 Having let the Left take over the institutions &#8212; from the mainstream press to our public schools and universities &#8212; while simultaneously giving them the power to control meaning through sheer force of political will (this is, after all, what PC<em> is<\/em>), we have put ourselves in a position to be bullied and controlled by a malicious minority seeking to enslave us.<\/p>\n<p>So I&#8217;m saying this now, before the inevitable &#8220;conservative&#8221; voices come out to caution us against being <em>unhelpful<\/em> &#8212;\u00a0 by appearing to be unconcerned with the shooting of an unarmed teenager while defending something so &#8220;controversial&#8221; as the right to shoot someone who happens to be slamming your head into the pavement, you&#8217;re only going to make matters worse; best to just keep your head down and serve up Zimmerman for the greater good of the GOP:\u00a0 this is a sham.\u00a0 A profoundly disgusting sham.\u00a0 These parents have nothing to offer that requires Congressional testimony.\u00a0 And by allowing this story to take on a national hue, we are granting the federal government the inch it needs to start pressuring states to comply with its top-down controls by sheer force of publicity &#8212;\u00a0 and the concomitant looming threat of public rioting it has shown it will both allow and foster.
