In\u00c3\u201a\u00c2\u00a0follow-up posts, I have noted that\u00c3\u201a\u00c2\u00a0the AP\u00c3\u00a2\u00e2\u201a\u00ac\u00e2\u201e\u00a2s coverage of the case<\/a> has ignored — but\u00c3\u201a\u00c2\u00a0demonstrated the wisdom of — the AP policy regarding conflicts of interest.<\/p>\n

Apparently, we cannot expect much more from the non-AP coverage of the case.\u00c3\u201a\u00c2\u00a0 At PowerLine<\/a>, John Hindraker dissects a piece that ran at Harper’s — and was reprinted<\/strike> excerpted at Editor & Publisher — that smears the US military and was coincidentally authored by Scott Horton\u00c3\u201a\u00c2\u00a0 –\u00c3\u201a\u00c2\u00a0who was, “until January, a partner in the law firm that represents Bilal Hussein — a fact that Horton did not find it necessary to disclose to his readers.”<\/p>\n
