No matter which ’side’ of the aisle we’re on (Conservative Republicans or the more middle of the road sorts of Republicans, or Independents, or Classical Liberals) let’s not forget our American troops, and their sacrifice. We should never forget the purposes of these wars, and the efforts made by our men and women in uniform to win.
Nor should we forget the..efforts..made by our enemies to drive us to defeat.

I read in the newspaper today that liberals can, once again, fly the flag because Obama is president. They said, in the article, that they couldn’t while Bush was president, because that would be see as an indication of their support for him.
So … do you think a bunch of conservatives are going to fold up their flag know? Because, you know, of the meaning being the action sort of thing?

Wrong. The point was to acknowledge the facts as they are today.
I know what the hope was. The media’s been ignoring Iraq for how many months now? A victory in iraq will not be a feather in Obama’s cap. Hopefully he will simply be putting the finishing touches on what Bush started, and nearly saw through to compleation.
