I like Sarah Palin. In this interview with Couric, though, she’s not able to cough up the name of a news magazine that she reads regularly, and reverses cause and effect twice in her syntax. Also, she doesn’t articulate well the distinctions between her personal beliefs and governmental policies.

IMO Palin doesn’t give her a name on purpose. If you give some names then the MSM is going to examine that list and critique her on what she reads and what she doesn’t read. How DARE she not read “blank” and what was she thinking by reading “blank”.
I no longer subscribe to any papers or magazines. I read just about everything online, or sometimes I’ll skim stuff at the bookstore. Book reading is fairly erratic, my life is very busy so I tend to leave that for leisure time and read more fiction.

Then she should say that right out, Darleen: I’m not answering that, because whatever I say will be denigrated by the media. What do you read, Katie? Why do you choose to get your information there? I’ll tell you one thing, though–I don’t watch CBS.

I don’t read news magazines, either, actually. Or newspapers. Or watch television news.

Dan
If you heard Palin on Hewitt she said she’s not going to pick a fight with those who buy ink by the barrel. She can’t attack Couric.
She does need to learn to go around her, though. I will grant that. That’s because she hasn’t been on the national scene and hasn’t learned the sly tricks.

Who does or doesn’t read reveals itself in good time.
Dan reads. I read. Obama reads. I’ll leave it at that.

Yulia Latynina. If you ever wanted to learn to write (blog) op-journo, reading her would be a good start. It’s all there.
