   Gravel is just as likely to start channeling Lord Guurrrrg from the planet Zoltar. The fact that they were desperate enough to put him on kinda shows how close they are to the bottom of the barrel.

   I’d pay good coin to hear a debate between Gravel and Kucinich, though — preferably moderated by Art Bell. Heh.

   Thanks for sharing this one, B Moe. Made me smile. My question (not being an NPR listener) were these supposed to be “journalists” or more like Bill O’Reilly-types for the left? (Or maybe no one pretends there’s a distinction anymore?)

   No. Not NPR. That’s Pacifics, specifically my one KPFK. That’s Sonali Kolhatkar and Larry Benski. This is the show in the clip I think … Sonali’s. Larry does a Sunday show for them. The catch is that lots of NPR stations are happy to carry Pacifica shows but almost always it’s Democracy Now that they carry.

   Thank you for posting that though. I used to listen to them at the beginning of the war but they got really marxy droney after awhile. NPR is getting really hard to tell apart from them these days.

    Up until recently, Kolhatkar worked as an applications developer at the California Institute of Technology. She has undergraduate degrees in physics and astronomy from the University of Texas and a master’s degree in astrophysics from the University of Hawaii.*

    You could hear the meltdown as the interviewers were not getting the answers they wanted. They wanted condemnation, and received only praise.

    BTW - does anybody recognize that accent the female interviewer has?
    It sounded a bit Canadian, but I can’t place it.
