Speaking of commies / Manchurian candidates / “composite” autobiographies punctuated by missing periods of time
JHo sends along this:
Now, I’m no fan of Alex Jones. But in this case he’s just the messenger. So go ahead and indulge your inner conspiracy theorist guilt free.
– Which descriptor of what it is you’re doing when you listen to non-major outlet sanctioned information, as we’re all coming to understand, is itself but a propaganda effort by those directing and maintaining the public narratives to keep those who come to believe in some uncomfortable and seemingly unlikely truths too terrified of ridicule to speak on them.
A form of shame, if you will, generally deployed as either mockery or phony indignation. Something I’ve described as part and parcel of the antifoundationalist left’s strategy for creating and then consolidating narratives, and then dismissing any counter narrative as either inauthentic or “fringe.” Manufacturing consent, shunning heretics.
And they’ve brought the “pragmatists” on “our” side along with them, self-styled electoral “realists” who are themselves are so terrified of the shame and mockery the left may bring to bear on them that they throw our own candidates to the media wolves, call the small government and fiscally responsible grass roots uprising from within their Party’s base hairy-footed, middle-earth midgets, and defend liberal fascism as a necessary condition for saving the free market economy from its own structural failings (and through they’re own genius manipulations).
