  1. Damn, Martha, AIN’T THAT THE TRUTH!  As Uncle Jed would say, “Whooo doggies!” How can one woman be that beautiful and talented?  And, did ya like the dress?  Hmmmm?

  2. Isn’t having a Sadie Hawkins Dance in a women’s prison kind of like having Misery Day in a North Korean gulag?  Isn’t it kind of implied?

And don’t say it’s a butch/femme thing, since it’s already been established where Martha fits in on that issue.

  3. Isn’t it kind of implied?

    Now you’re beginning to understand.

  4. Ah-HA!  AS A JUNIOR CITIZEN JOURNALISTâ„¢ I demand to know how sadie hawkins day got moved to February from November 9th.

Sadie Hawkins is for Jews and Gentiles alike, Jeff, but that doesn’t mean you can just move her day around.

  5. I think Jeff is telling us exactly where Martha stands on the butch-femme scale. And it made me laugh out loud.

  6. Attila Girl,

Day 89 tells all.  “The Facts of Life” isn’t the kind of tune used by someone contemplating revenge.  She wasn’t carefree, either, or she’d have hummed something like the theme from the classic Terrence Hill/Bud Spencer western “Trinity”.
