Bitter losers [Darleen Click] UPDATED

Salt in the Wound

Well there’s nothing like kicking a guy when he’s down.

That’s what this one recall supporter did to Mayor Tom Barrett last night, after he conceded the election to Governor Scott Walker.

She slapped him in the face.

And that’s one really cool way to show a guy that you support his cause.

Reportedly, she was upset because he conceded too early.

h/t Dale Price

And nothing more demonstrates the Left’s commitment to democracy than offering up a plethora of death threats when they lose. Samples:

UPDATE Let’s add delusional to the list of losing Leftist reactions

“Tonight, the really big winner in the Wisconsin recall election is President Obama,” MSNBC host Lawrence O’Donnell said at the top of his Tuesday program after parent network NBC called the race for Gov. Scott Walker over Democrat Tom Barrett.

We should get SupaMcNASTY and DomoSoloDolo together.

Or maybe it’s okay to call a white person an “ass pig ass nigga” as long as you’re not a “racist dumb asshole that voted for Walker”.

  2. EBL says:

    Their behavior reveals them Darleen.

Let’s also remember what today is.
Let’s not just give thanks for last night…

  3. Squid says:

So, O’Donnell gives us Denial, the twits and Miss Slappy Hands give us Anger — where are our examples of Bargaining and Depression?

Given that it’s the Madtown Dems, perhaps I should ask where’s the collective Bargaining?

  4. TRHein says:

It faded as an issue Squid.

  5. I Callahan says:

At the risk of sounding racist, I’ll say you can tell the pigment of the writers by the excellent English in those tweets.

  6. palaeomerus says:

It’s okay Wisconsin. You whipped the union run political machine’s ass four times now over the last couple users. Once in an election, once in the courts, once in a Supreme court election, and now once in a huge sore loser recall with pretty much all their money, foot traffic and legal pressure at full strength. They lost every time. They lost in the end more than they did in the beginning.

They’ll start to get the message soon. Then a lot of this idiot “take our state back and march on the capitol to keep the teat in our mouths” bullshit will stop.

  7. sdferr says:

If there’s a single lovely aspect to the political left’s self-inflicted wounding, it’s the certainty they’ll be bringing themselves another before the month is out (waves hi at the Supreme Court Justices). We have naught but to cheer: “Do it again Democrats! Next time’s the charm!”

  8. Matt says:

The sheer amount of spinning going on in liberal “news”rooms is laughable. “This is a win for Obama!” Maybe if Obama hadn’t just tweeted his support for Barrett…

  9. Spiny Norman says:

    Squid,

So, O’Donnell gives us Denial, the twits and Miss Slappy Hands give us Anger — where are our examples of Bargaining and Depression?

They’ll be here in November. Acceptance ain’t never gonna happen, though.

  10. Spiny Norman says:

I take that back: I think all the “this is a win for Obama” could be read as Bargaining.

  11. McGehee says:

I think all the “this is a win for Obama” could be read as Bargaining.

I suppose I could see that, if the people saying it were offering to do something to make it so — in this case, something different from what they’d done on the recall. Which, nope. Their offer is to do more of the same, only nationwide!

    That’s denial.

  12. Squid says:

I suppose Barrett’s “both sides need to listen to one other and work together” concession speech might be Bargaining.

In any case, for as entertaining as Anger has been, I’m really looking forward to Depression. “I’m so sorry” pics of compassionate head-tilters, anyone?

  13. cranky-d says:

Why should the right listen to the left? That’s how we got into this mess.

  14. Squid says:

Why should the right listen to the left?

Main reason? They constantly telegraph their next moves. But I suppose you were talking about policy, and not tactics.

  15. BigBangHunter says:

    – One could argue that O’Donnell and Shultz, along with all the other media Leftward propogandists were just anxious to assure the faithful that the Big lie machine was still alive and well, in spite of the Wisconson/San Diego trouncings.

    – Maybe the media’s mentally disturbed were reacting to all those vicious comments turned against them on Lefty blogs last night.

  16. palaeomerus says:

“I think all the “this is a win for Obama” could be read as Bargaining.”

So Obama is winning in the “Vatican Assassin/Warlock/Rockstar From mars with Tiger Blood” sense now?

  17. Squid says:

“Coming this Spring on the CW: Charlie Sheen and Barack Obama are an Odd Couple for the 21st Century. Tune in for One And A Half Men, Tuesdays at Eight!”

  18. leigh says:

I’m going with Krauthammer calling Bill Clinton a “double-agent” as my happy thought for the day.

  19. cranky-d says:

I was definitely thinking policy, Squid.

We should closely listen to what the left accuse us of doing, because either they’re already doing it or plan to if given the chance.

  20. Ernst Schreiber says:

The new Truth in Labeling laws have forced the network to retitle that show Two Half-Men Squid.

  21. Swen says:

It’s been a good day. I’m beginning to think Conan was right:

Mongol General: … Conan! What is best in life?

Conan: To crush your enemies, see them driven before you, and to hear the lamentation of their women.

Mongol General: That is good! That is good.
