Gov. Brewer to Pres. Obama: “Do your job.”
Interesting how Obama is aghast and agog that oil drilling cannot be 100% guaranteed “safe” from any accident, but American citizens under seige from the criminal elements outside and inside of the Mexican government?? Heh.

Umm, as to Governor Brewer, “Mr. President, do your job..” Well, our president is too busy golfing to think about little things like our border.
The Obama administration has got to be kicking themselves for taking Napolitano and clearing the way for Governor Brewer.

Barack H. Obama naively imagines that his lack of backbone will make him super-popular on the world stage.
What the people who put this simpleton in office will soon discover is that his lack of spine only serves to make him, his backers, and the USA in general, ideal doormats.
Nobody likes a fag. Gays do not like fags. Barry is a complete and total fag.
They told me that if I voted for McCain we would have a punk-assed bitch for a President…and they were right!

I get the impression that while Mexican drug and human smugglers have free rein in the area, any American citizens taking action outside the law would be prosecuted to the fullest extent possible.
Seems like it would be a good place to go full OUTLAW! and suspend the rules for everybody. Level the playing field, and I’ll bet American rednecks could have full control of the region by the end of the summer. If nothing else, at least the jobs in the smuggling industry would go to American citizens.

I see a business opportunity here: Most Dangerous Game safaris.
Since, the Federal goverment does not consider what goes on in the Forbidden Zone to be any of its business.

Sherman, nah, you’d just be hunting varmints, otherwise known as “coyotes.”

These are the same people what sent Meghan’s immigrant-loving pansy whore daddy to the Senate for ever and ever and are probably gonna inflict the piece of shit on America for six more years. Now they wanna whine about immigrants. Typical whiny ass American failshit I think.

The Most Dangerous Game idea is great, but it smacks of free enterprise, and is thus not allowed.
When you realize that LaRaza Barry believes that Arizona and Texas rightly belong to the failed narco-state we call ‘Mexico’, it makes his actions (inactions?) more understandable, if still indefensible.
IOW: It is above his job description to say if you can hunt people in the new, New Mexico.

So, Sec. of State Hillary revealed to the Equadorain media that the Obama Adminstration was definitely going to be suing Arizona and Gov. Brewer in an attempt to overturn the AZ law, because “we can’t have 50 separate immigration policies”.
In other words, there must be just one, and that’s the Federal Immigration Law.
So, can we expect the Obama Administration to sue San Fransico, Seattle and all the other “Santcuary” cities that have passes there own immigration laws in direct contravention to the federal statutes?
Yea, I didn’t think so. That would require a consistency of thought and action that simply isn’t within the capacity of the progressives.
Obama and his ilk are the biggest bunch of hypocrites I have ever seen.
On a similar note, a see where Elenaor Clift wrote a column bemoaning that Al Gore has become “a national joke, again”.
Two comments:
1) “Again”? When did he ever stop being a national joke?
2) I thought that Elenaor and her band of vajayjay warriors taught us the lesson of Anita Hill: Any charge of male improprietry brought by a woman (especially if a “power imbalance” is present) MUST be considered gospel, regardless the time interval betwen the event and the actual charge being leveled. BECAUSE OF THE PATRIARCHY!
I guess, for some unexplained reason, the Portland massuese just doesn’t qualify as part of “the sisterhood of the traveling victimization”.
Sorta like Kathleen Wiley, Juanita Broderick and Paula Jones.

From The Gila Courier
Murder in smuggling corridor, updated
This press release just came in from the Pinal County Sheriff’s Department.
Lieutenant Tamatha Villar
Public Information Officer
Office: 520-866-5199
June 11th, 2010
TWO MEN KILLED IN SMUGGLING CORRIDOR
On Sunday, June 6th 2010 Pinal County Sheriff Deputies located the bodies of two Hispanic males in a remote desert area near Interstate 8 and milepost 150. This area is a known smuggling corridor and the area where, just five weeks before, Deputy Louie Puroll was shot and wounded after tracking six individuals who were smuggling drugs. The drug smugglers ambushed Deputy Puroll with a handgun and two AK-47 automatic rifles from different tactical positions.
At approximately 7:30 pm on June 6th, PCSO Communications Center received a 911 call from a Spanish speaking male who reported that he and his “partner” had been shot. The caller advised the dispatcher, “I am right here, where they shot the sheriff, on this side.” The dispatcher continued to attempt to identify the caller, his injuries and exact location as he repeatedly referenced Dep. Puroll’s earlier shooting incident.
The initial call and several subsequent calls were dropped and communication repeatedly re-established. Dispatch remained in contact through a series of calls that lasted approximately 28 minuets when the final call was dropped; the communications dispatcher was unable to re-establish communication with the caller.
Deputies located the men, both deceased, several hours after the initial call. Deputies also located a Bushmaster .223 Automatic Rifle with one of the decedents. The autopsies were performed by the Pima County Medical Examiner and preliminary reports confirm the victims were each struck once by what appears to be an AK-47 type round and evidence collected at the scene supports this. Documents located at the crime scene and information provided by the victim on 911 strongly suggests both men are Mexican Nationals. Investigators are working with ICE and the Mexican Consulate to attempt to confirm the men’s identities and notify next of kin.
Investigators believe this incident is likely the result of the ongoing violent battle between Mexican drug cartels. Investigators have not been able to confirm if the two men are part of the drug trade or just what they were doing at the camp.
The Sinaloan drug cartel, a super drug cartel, is now controlling the region from Rocky Point, Sonora, Mexico to Nogales, Sonora, Mexico. They are the main drug cartel operating in western Pinal County and it is unknown whether these men are associated with this or another competing drug cartel.
PCSO Investigators say the bodies were located approximately 500 yards from a migrant camp in Antelope Pass an area commonly known for drug and human smuggling.

What prevents the Governor from calling out the AZ National Guard with live ammo?
Comment by B Moe on 6/26 @ 4:08 pm #
You let some militia types go all vigilante on the Mexicans in there and watch how fast Obama sends the troops in. The Feds only say they can’t protect Americans in there, I promise you they will protect the Mexicans.

It would probably help a lot if Obama was an American himself, B Moe, but after reading this…

I am convinced that someone in the sheriff’s office is already working the “Dangerous game” angle, just not-for-profit, which of course makes it okay for Obama.

I’d like to see Arizona and Texas both send their national Guard to the border… and then fifty miles beyond.
I mean, if we’re going to have a “safety zone”, let’s have it on the Mexican side.

Yeah. That was the underlying point of my Swiftian modest proposal.
I would like to ask again – I don’t know enough about the relevant procedures to have an opinion – why can’t the Governor deploy the AZ National Guard, armed with hardball ammo instead of just harsh language? This is a rural riot. The local cops are overwhelmed. And, it would force the Federal Government’s hand to some extent. There has to be a reason – what is it?

B Moe, I hope that exact situation arises before the November elections. At that point, the entire US military gets to decide if they are going to defend American citizens, or obey illegal orders. I’d rather get that decision out of the way and in public as soon as possible, so we can identify friend from foe.

It looks like the Second Civil War is breaking out is the Southwest.
And maybe New Jersey.
Comment by B Moe on 6/26 @ 8:33 pm #
You are talking about a major Constitutional crisis and possible war with Mexico.
I would guess one wouldn’t make a decision like that without careful consideration.

“You are talking about a major Constitutional crisis and possible war with Mexico. ”
Remember after 9/11, when it became common knowledge; “they were at war with us but we weren’t at war with them?
That phrase is going to bite us on the ass again…
Oh, wait. OWWWWW

Seems likely, but it would still be a tough call for the Governor of a state to make.
Comment by Wm T Sherman on 6/27 @ 5:09 pm #
I thought that the governor of a state is C. in C. of the National Guard in that state, and can call out the Guard on their own authority. And I’m talking about deploying inside Arizona, not crossing into Mexico.
Comment by sdferr on 6/27 @ 5:16 pm #
Mr Sherman, LTC John had something to say on that subject a little while back. scroll down for the sequels as well.

In response to the governors power re the local national guard. The governor is the only official that CAn order the guard in any action. Recall the Bush/Blanko fiasco during Katrina.
Now, if Obamabunglefuck declared Martial law he could redirect the gaurd not to act, as long as he had congressional approval in the form of a declaration of war powers inactment.
Personally I’d love to see him do such a stupid act. It would be a clear anti-American move for all to see, and one the Lame-stream media could not cover-up.
On the opposite side of the coin, I’m pissed at Rudy for ducking the nomination the last time around, but not so pissed I wouldn’t stump for him in 2012.

Arizona and New Jersey secede? How can we make this happen?
Comment by Kresh on 6/28 @ 12:30 pm #
Yep, your new game of “Baiting kresh” is working perfectly, HF. So, to keep up appreances, let me say “Fuck you ‘feets.”
To be honest, ‘tard, we only really noticed his “Conservative-lite” actions in the last term of his (six years, remember?) and we’re a bit sick of it right now. We’ll see if the rest of Arizona is paying attention to his antics, but we’re doing what we can to not get him back. Heck, we’re taking a chance with Hayworth, but it’d be hard to do worse than McCain without electing a Democrat.
“But, but, but Hayworth was a lobbyist! And he had that infomertial! WAAAAAH!” People need to work. Lobbying can be a good paying job. No shame in that. The infomertial… that’s a toughie. I haven’t checked it out. Something I need to do.

Gotta love it, don’t you? Last spring we were in Tucson and thought we might do some hiking on BLM land just out of town so we went to the BLM office to ask for more info. They told us in no uncertain terms not to go out there because it’s too dangerous. ‘Course every other employee of the BLM nowadays seems to be a law enforcement ranger, making me wonder why, if they know it’s so bad, they aren’t doing something about it. Just easier, not to mention safer, to put up signs.
