Yesterday was a by-week for my Trojans (and damn if they don’t need it). Hubby and I are going to see The Blind Side in about an hour so I’ll do a review when I get home.

My Colts should be 10-0 by the end of the day. Oregon vs Arizona was epic. Charley Weis should be adding to the Barcky unemployment numbers by the middle of the week.

While you waste the day consuming electricitiy watching football (especially since the Titans and my true hometown team the Redskins suck anyway), I have this public service announcement. Ladies, don’t let climate change push you into prostitution.

Isn’t the last thing a football watching male wants the distractions of the flesh? I mean, geez, a perfect Peyton spiral or a palpable poontang? No contest, am I right, men?

My husband just left to take the oldest to see the Lions vs the Browns. LOL. He figured he could seats really cheap, and the boys would get to see “professional” football up close.
We didn’t have any brown bags … which is a shame, because today is – apparently – brown bag day.

Look, I’ve been to the Philippines, a few times, whether for good or ill they had prostitution on an industrial scale a long time.
I went to bed last night at 9:00PM. I blame global warming. There is exactly as much data to prove my sleeping habits.
Once again, if you buy into the idea that man kind can affect the weather. You are of no use to humanity and really, really, should be put out of your misery. Whether with prostitutes or a 2″x4″. I don’t care which really.

Count your blessings, Carin. They could have been made from felony wood.

Peyton just abused Ed Reed.

Nice job by the Colts d’backs bailing Peyton out there.

Gators look like they might have a better offense in store next year; Brantley is a better passer than Tebow and he’s also pretty quick on his feet.
Of course, that was against FIU; no telling how that would play against, say, Alabama.

Carin,
Your hubby and kids are seeing a great game. I’m watching NFL RedZone, and they’ve been on more than any other game. 24 – 24 at the half. Your oldest will remember this forever. You never know.

How about that Silverdome?
Maybe Michigan would be a good place to start over, once they finally turn the lights off.
Comment by sdferr on 11/22 @ 1:57 pm #
Brantley is good Slartibartfast. I must say, I’ve been nothing short of amazed at the sluggishness of Tebow’s decision cycle when passing. Somehow I don’t remember him having quite as much difficulty last year as he seems to be having this year.
Comment by Slartibartfast on 11/22 @ 2:09 pm #
Yeah, he’s slow on committing to both pass and run. If he’d just go with his first impulse, he could then work on making better decisions. But the way it is now, he’s just too slow making any decision.
He’s been better. I think he’s just a little wrapped around the axle, mentally. Probably putting Brantley in a few times during the next couple of games would be a good idea, if only to take the pressure off Tebow.
Comment by Slartibartfast on 11/22 @ 2:09 pm #
Brantley’s delivery is cleaner, too. He gets a LOT of speed off a short arm motion.
Comment by Slartibartfast on 11/22 @ 2:11 pm #
Oh yeah. The Saints used to have those.
Comment by JD on 11/22 @ 3:02 pm #
Colts make plays.

Man, the nfl brings the crazy… Pitts loses in OT to the Arrows? ‘Boys only barely able to escape the humiliation of a loss to the Skins? Whack.

This is a wild week, no doubt. Denver vs San Diego should be huge.
Sdferr – Did you see Dallas Clark’s one-handed TD catch?
Comment by sdferr on 11/22 @ 3:24 pm #
No JD, I didn’t. I’ll look for it in replays.
Comment by JD on 11/22 @ 3:30 pm #
One of the best catches of the season. One-handed, and never even brought it back into his body.
