    Scott Hinderaker posts what he calls Tentative theses on Obama and Iran, speculating that Obama is driving toward an insistence that Israel rid itself of nukes in return for Iran eschewing them.
    

    8. Obama can propose mutual nuclear disarmament to Iran and Israel.

    9. Such a proposal would appear to be evenhanded.

    10. When the Israelis refuse to give up their nuclear weapons, he can throw up his hands and blame the Israelis for the Iranian program.

    So in your world view it is easier, and preferred to let everyone arm up first before we engage mutual disarmament talks. Everyone. Fanatic religious facists, crazy uncles, the guy at the freeway ramp who sqeegies windshields with what looks like human fluids?

    After all can’t engage in mutual disarmament talks if one side is not armed up yet. Makes sense.
