Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger apparently has been captivated by recent news stories about a conservative filmmaker who exposed misdeeds at ACORN, the national organization that serves low-income residents and has been involved in controversial efforts to register Democratic voters.
The Republican governor sent a brief memo Wednesday to Democratic Attorney General Jerry Brown asking him to investigate ACORN’s activities in San Bernardino. Two conservative activists have posted videos of their visits to ACORN offices around the country in which they posed as a prostitute and a pimp seeking advice. [...]
“Over the past few days, I have seen a series of news stories regarding the ACORN organization that have concerned me greatly,” Schwarzenegger wrote. “As you may be aware, the most recent report has come out of San Bernardino. Given this, I believe it is appropriate that your office launch a full investigation into ACORN’s activities in California. My administration stands ready to assist in any way necessary.”
Brown’s office did not have an immediate response.

I mean, surely you don’t think the solution once the ring is busted is to just deport them right? Even at its most heartless, they’re witnesses that will be needed to have around to prosecute the traffickers. I say let’s not just stop there. One of the basic needs they’ll have is health care, which is a problem if we don’t allow illegals to get any. We need solutions which are more victim focused that juts making something a felony. I did not realize James O’Keefe, who is doing the ACORN exposes, did the Planned Parenthood undercover tape when he said he wanted to donate money so they could abort more black babies.
And before Charles Johnson and the left decries racism, the point of that investigation was the craveness of Planned Parenthood, not to actually promote the abortion of any babies.
Of course Margaret Sanger, who founded Planned Parenthood, was all for cleaning up “the race” and getting rid of undesirable Jews, Eastern and Southern Europeans, and Negros. Ironic she is a hero of the left.

I heard that the FBI Director was asked about ACORN in a Congressional hearing yesterday and he said he had just heard about it, so poor Charlie Gibson isn’t the only person in the dark.
I know the FBI used to have a person watch TV, day and night, looking for breaking stories (so the Director wouldn’t be the last to know), but apparently that may not be the case any more.

Sorry for being late to the party, and you’ll forgive me if I’ve missed something important, but I have to ask:
When meya was asked how she felt about ACORN aiding and abetting the sexual slavery of children, did she really go off on a prolonged rant about social services for sex slaves? I mean, I suppose I could go back and re-read things, but on first perusal, it looks like she was totally down with ACORN helping people engage in the human trafficking of underage girls, so long as the girls got free health care after the people ACORN helped got caught.
Is meya really that twisted? I find it hard to believe. Maybe I should read the comments again until I find the part where she condemns ACORN as an evil organization that exists to help evil people pursue evil ends, and states that we wouldn’t have to worry so much about the treatment of victims of human trafficking and sexual slavery if organizations like ACORN didn’t exist to encourage slavers and pimps and help them to evade the law.
Because I’m sure it has to be in there. Nobody can be that amoral and twisted; not even on teh intarwebs.
