My prediction is that a few ACORN offices will be defaced with violent racist “hate speech,” which will then take the pressure away, and the MSM will report the ACORN-as-victim meme, abandoning the pimps-and-hos story. ACORN opponents will then be tasked with defending accusations that anyone who is anti-ACORN is de facto a racist.
After several months, investigations will reveal that the “hate speech” was perpretrated by ACORN employees or fellow travellers, and this will be reported on page 34F of the Times.

While many people come here transiently, or move here more permanently for business, an awful lot of the NYC residents are natives. And I don’t know whether it’s so much insular as it may simply be a form of provincial narcissism. But, given the number of people here it may just be a sort of narrow-ness of focus. Clearly though they generally view everywhere else as nice places to visit, but they wouldn’t want to live there!
But I’m really talking out of turn-so to speak, since I live just outside of Queens at the beach at not really in the city…

Bob wasn’t contesting that. He was speaking to the information gathering habits of a particular type of New Yorker. New Yorkers are extremely insular but it is something of a contrivance because most Manhattanites hail from elsewhere and joining the bubble is how a steady stream of newcomers most easily fit in. The “real” New York is one where only 38% of the native-born graduate from high school, most people read the New York Post or Daily News and all the enlightened lefties don’t bat an eye when cabbies routinely drive right past a well-dressed black person who was waiting longer in order to pick them up.

In fairness, if you watch the raw footage at Hot Air (3 of 4), Tresa does say something to the effect of “unless this is a total setup.” After they reassure her that they’re serious (and their manner was TOTALLY menacing throughout) she takes them to see that one guy.
Also, she repeats often in the raw footage that ACORN won’t help them and that she really can’t either, but she is happy enough to give out advice.
So stating that she had no intention of actually helping them with something official is at least plausible, and it DOES occur to her that they’re putting her on (James’s pimp outfit is deliberately ridiculous). Also, her recitation of those she knows in congress are probably mostly lies.
Of all the tapes so far, this one has the most plausible deniability in it.
Also, one of the prime reasons the MSM is depriving this story of oxygen is that the cannot bring themselves to admit that they were scooped by a filthy blogger, and a filthy GOP blogger at that.

Kaelke didn’t say she met with them all the time, she said she talked to them –meaning their offices — all the time.
The bottom line is, the New York Times has had this story (or this level of the story) for at least a year and a half and killed it because it saddened them to have to out the entire Democratic party of widespread corruption and massive illegal acts. SIGH! and so no one would have to go undercover had they reported it.

Because a person who makes a spectacle of herself in the performance of a publicly-funded partisan political job – including the claim that she murdered her husband – is exactly the same thing as playing catch with your kid in the yard when a presidential candidate drops by and asking him a question that he gives an unscripted answer to that proves embarrassing.
