The numerous libels in that short excerpt are breathtaking. There were no cries of “socialist” or “communist” from speakers at Palin rallies. The “birther” movement was born out of the Hillary Clinton supporter camp.
And if these mendoucheous, leftist gasbags want to accuse every dissenting person who showed up at a Tea Party as being paid by “K Street lobbiests” then come prove I received any checks.

The DNC released a Web video early in the morning accusing the GOP of inciting mob activity at town hall meetings.
At the end of the video, the DNC instructs people to call the Republican National Committee to express outrage. Callers who dial the RNC’s main number to voice their concern about the DNC’s charges are told to press 1, which sends them to the DNC’s main switchboard.
DNC spokesman Brad Woodhouse described the RNC’s redirection as a “neat trick,” but said it just further proves the Democrats’ point about the GOP.
“The RNC is inciting angry mobs to shout out legitimate discussion at public events across the country and now they want to ignore people who deplore their tactics,” Woodhouse said. “Republicans don’t want to have a discussion about the future of health care reform – they want to shout out – and now completely ignore – anyone who disagrees with them.”

Here is her source, AFL/CIO page. They mix at least 3 different polls there. An old one of Union members fron July 2007. A “CBS/New York Times poll of the general public earlier this year”. And a “recent Gallup poll”.
It is the recent Gallup she is quoting. How recent, unknown. There are no links there either just the statement of what the AFL/CIO says in in the polls. The words are from one of the messiah’s buds so they are surely accurate and truthy.

Obviously what our semi-resident serial eugenicist and the DNC are missing in all of this talk of “outing” citizens concerned about health care reform is their concern about this health care reform and … the totally dishonest way this administration has gone about representing how much it will cost and how its going to be funded.
Forget about the portions of the bill that amount to government committees making decisions about quality of care issues and the rather odious elderly patient interviews to determine the medical value of the remaining years of their lives. Neither of those issues mean anything to the serial eugenicist or the DNC. That’s why they are fudging the Gallup numbers and ignoring the several other polls showing growing concern with the plan currently being batted about in DC.
No where to be found is any discussion about how much it’s going to cost and what it’s going to do to the elephantine deficit that gets fatter every day. That’s because the CBO has already outed the scheme on fudging the numbers. This is not unique in American legislative history nor is it unique to the health care issue. Numbers fudging on the low end was employed for the cost of Medicare (which came in ten times the cost projected over ten years and continues to be a steroidal accelerating cash guzzler) and Bush’s Prescription program (already many billions over legislative projections.)
This is where the serial eugenicist and the DNC fear to tread as they would be stuck up to their necks in red mud. No amount of “brown shirt” or “astroturfing” rhetoric can possibly hide this plain, simple truth from the majority of the American public. This program, as proposed, is a cash guzzler primed to break the American budget and, as a result, the American economy.
We can toss out all of the other concerns and focus on costs and still kill this big, heaping, bloated pile of monkey crap.

When I bought my own insurance, during my first job out of college, it cost about $250/month. It also did not cover any maternity costs. If I had wanted to get pregnant, I would have had to pay for a maternity rider, another $250/month.
Honey, if you can’t afford to spend $250/month, you can’t afford a baby period. Do you have any idea how much babies cost to raise? Or were you planning on sticking the taxpayers with that as well?
You know, we do know where babies come from nowadays. They’re easily prevented by a wide varieties of means. They’re not like cancer or breaking your leg on stairs.

I don’t think so. Government employees have always operated under different rules, unions are still private entities, allowing them such blatant favoritism would be violating a whole assload of labor laws it seems to me, as well as probably the equal protection clause.

B moe, from what (little) I’ve read, the unions are saying that they will be exempt because they’re health care is part of a contract with their members. For some reason, I don’t think they’ll get the same treatment as some investors or car dealerships.
