The attacks on Palin are a preventative strategy: destroy her now before she becomes a threat. The 14 frivolous ethics complaints that were filed against her are a case in point. Though all of them were decided in her favor, this won’t be mentioned by the MSM when they say “Sarah Palin’s credibility was damaged by Troopergate [also resolved in her favor] and numerous ethics complaints filed against her by concerned citizens” or some such rot.
The idea is to smear her over a period of several years so that many people will unconsciously assimilate the smears as fact. Many will think that where there is smoke, there’s bound to be fire. It is an effective strategy that the Left regularly uses to weaken conservative and Republican candidates.
We must find ways to defeat this Machiavellian strategy.

Attacking someone based on lies has risk. Every new one is another ball thrown in the air to be juggled, kept in constant motion. Stop and the whole edifice collapses.
Miss a ball? Someone starts to realize that they have been deceived. Once that happens that person can not go back to believing the deception. Each realization is a victory. They don’t just add they multiply, like compound interest. Small at first then larger.
This is the way to beat them. All that is needed is a candidate who is not cowed by the lies. Who will fight back against them and fight for freedom.

Just did. A couple problems with it, technical ones.
It appears the picture is a “hot link” aka inline link which is not exactly kosher online. Because (probably) of the hotlink the font in the picture caption, “Calibri”carries over to the post’s text. Making it look weird on PW.
The post itself is pretty typical thor, praise for a debauched third world tyrant. Sex, blood, gore, and slavery.
I’d hoped for an economics primer from his perspective or maybe an original story. Ah well.
