    AP contributed to this report

It’s so hard to tell which parts!

Here’s the AP story I got locally — and seriously, read this:

BAT AYIN, West Bank — A Palestinian killed an Israeli teenager with a pickax and seriously injured a 7-year-old boy in a rampage through this West Bank Jewish settlement Thursday, posing an early test for the country’s new hard-line government.

Israeli media broadcast pictures of the body of 13-year-old Shlomo Nativ, bespectacled with long sidecurls and a large skullcap worn by observant Jews. The images also showed the red pickax on the ground with drops of blood splattered on a road.

The attacker escaped the scene and Israeli troops, joined by bearded settlers armed with automatic rifles, were conducting a manhunt in the area. In the nearby Palestinian village of Safa, troops searched houses and rounded up residents in a schoolyard. The military said all roads around the settlement of Bat Ayin were closed.

The settlement is notorious in Israel for being the base of the so-called “Bat Ayin Underground,” whose members were arrested over a botched 2002 bombing on an Arab girls’ school in Jerusalem. The wounded boy’s father, a member of the underground, is currently serving a 15-year sentence for his involvement in that bombing attempt.

Avinoam Maymon, a 45-year-old resident of the extremist settlement, said he tried to stop the assailant after the attack, violently struggling with him for a minute or two.

“He tried to kill me. I grabbed his hand and took the ax and he escaped,” he told The Associated Press.

He said the attacker fled to a neighboring “murderous village.”

The attacker apparently entered Bat Ayin, located between Jerusalem and the southern West Bank city of Hebron, unhindered. The religious settlers have refused to build a security fence around their community — standard practice in most settlements — saying it would be a sign of weakness.

The teenager was quickly buried at a funeral Thursday afternoon, which was closed to the media at the family’s request.

The attack came a day after Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu took office and will likely heighten tensions with the Palestinians. The leader of the hawkish Likud party has promised a firm hand against militants and lowered expectations on the prospects for peace.

Government spokesman Mark Regev called it a “senseless act of brutality against innocents” and warned the new leadership will have a “zero tolerance policy” toward militants.

A murky Palestinian militant group calling itself the Martyrs of Imad Mughniyeh claimed responsibility for the attack in an e-mail sent to the AP.

The group is named for a Hezbollah mastermind killed in Syria last year in what is believed to have been an assassination by Israeli intelligence. It has claimed a number of past attacks, but Israeli defense officials believe it is likely a name used by other groups to avoid Israeli reprisals.

The e-mail said the militant group Islamic Jihad was also involved. The group’s spokesman in Gaza would not comment.

The new government has already voiced skepticism about peace negotiations in its first days in office.

“The Palestinian leadership must both in word and in deed too have a zero tolerance policy to this sort of attack to demonstrate its commitment to peace and reconciliation,” said Regev, the government spokesman.

Netanyahu was elected on a campaign that criticized the previous government’s peace negotiations with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas. Since then, Netanyahu has said he will seek peace, but has given few details about his vision for a final agreement. He has specifically refused to endorse the idea of an independent Palestinian state — a key demand of the Palestinians and centerpiece of U.S. diplomacy in the region.

On Wednesday, Netanyahu’s ultranationalist foreign minister, Avigdor Lieberman, said Israeli concessions to the Palestinians would only invite more war. He also rejected the previous government’s peace talks, launched at a U.S.-sponsored conference in 2007.

Netanyahu has not commented publicly on Lieberman’s statements. But a close Netanyahu ally, Cabinet minister Gilad Erdan, said Thursday that Lieberman’s comments largely reflected the position of the prime minister’s Likud Party.

The appointment of the Lieberman has angered Palestinians and raised international concerns because of his hard-line positions on peace and an election campaign that was widely seen as racist.

In Cairo, Egypt’s Foreign Ministry called Lieberman’s remarks “a setback to peace efforts.”

That otherwise typical AP-on-Israel report got stuck in my mind because of its completely weird and [cough] familiar focus on Jew hair.

This latest Muslim terrorist horror in Israel starts a credits list scrolling in my head that won’t stop: Iran, Beirut, The Cole, Somalia, East Africa, 9/11, Beslan, Spain, London. Those are just the big ones, every day around the world Muslims murder in the name of their religion. They attack women, children, the old and sick, other muslims, non-muslims, white, black, yellow, red, it doesn’t matter. Most Muslims support this grisly agenda, some of them actively, others by dancing in the streets, expressing joy in the deaths of strangers.

    I hate these bastards.

I am repulsed by Muslim practices and beliefs. Women and children treated as chattel, female genital mutilation, child brides, honor killings, pedophilia, handshakes that supposedly shrink penises, head to toe black drapes (“BMOs” as we used to call them in Saudi – “Black Moving Objects”), no rights, no votes, few educational opportunities – especially for women, no voice, no choice, no recourse. Imprisonment, stoning and whipping for morality crimes. No free speech. The foul treatment of non-Muslims in Muslim countries. The demented hatred of Jews. Sharia Law. Wahhabism. Madrasas. Blind obedience to Mullahs. No individuality. No originality, for freedom of the mind. Islam shits on human talents that fall outside the razor wire of its faith.

Oh, and they hate dogs. Dogs! Jesus. A religion that hates Labrador Retrievers. Come. The. Fuck. On.

I think Mohamed – cursed be his damned name – was evil incarnate carrying the words of Satan himself to a crew of desert simpletons.

Islam is a barbaric, warlike, vile, unthinking distortion of worship.

The fact that the majority of its adherents can’t even read the Koran – by design – smacks of mindless ignorance. I see no enlightenment elevating individual singularity or acknowledging gifted greatness in this corner of archaic darkness.

I sneer at their love of theocracies, their willingness to subjugate themselves to the whims of dissolute rulers and an ancient text they can’t even begin to comprehend, subsuming their divine individuality to a tide of dogmatic mandates.

I have no use, nor respect, for the people who follow this religion. I’m past tired of their bombing, shooting, acid throwing, coup d’etat loving, rioting, Islamic Rage Boy asses and it looks like the rest of the world could stand a break from these murdering bastards, too. According to a website that does nothing but track worldwide Muslim terrorism, there have been 12,987 Muslim terrorist attacks since 9/11. Don’t tell me this isn’t an generic religious issue, the rest of us aren’t practicing murder in the name of religion.

Please spare me the ‘Moderate Islam’ bullshit. Sure, most Muslims aren’t carrying out jihad, many don’t actively support those activities, millions don’t dance in the streets and rejoice in death. That said, of all of those billions who don’t participate, how many are actively fighting Muslim terrorists? How many are working to moderate the Koran, men, rulers and countries who support terrorism? I have yet to see an “Arab Street” riot to overthrow the mullahs, dethrone the Saudis, crush the morality police or stone the acid-throwing scumbags who attack school girls.

Where are the millions of women demonstrating for their natural human rights to keep their labias, show their arms and hair, go to school, learn to drive a damn car? Where are the protesters when a filmmaker, writer or cartoonist is killed for expressing their thoughts on Islam? Show me the Muslim groups vocally trying to protect children or gays. There is no movement among their theologians to modernize, secularize or moderate the Koran. And don’t get me going on about Southeast Asia, a predominately Muslim region full of Muslim terrorism that our media regularly ignores. Read the news from southern Thailand, or southern Phillipines, some time. Look at the pictures of heads – minus bodies – lined up on fences, victims of Muslim beheading insanity.

Most Muslims wallow the same foul cesspool that breeds this kind of extremism. They don’t appear to give a shit.

So, really, moderate Muslims don’t exist. Most Muslims are quietly going about their lives in this open religious sewer, while some are trying to remake the globe through massive violence. I have no use for either. I’m past the point of trying to understand, rationalize or tolerate general Muslim failure to moderate their religion or issue wholesale condemnations for the violence committed in the name of their faith.

I’m done with this religious abomination that’s wreaking regular havoc and death on the world. I condemn all Muslims until they give me good reason to reconsider their decency. A worldwide Muslim protest against the perpetrators of the latest Muslim terrorist atrocity in Israel would be a good start.

Of course, I’m not holding my breath.

    LTC John:

Amoralism is the watchword for the age. It allows many to ignore what is going on around them. And it isn’t new. Kitty Genovese was murdered in 1964.

How else can a person rationalize cowardice, both physical and moral, and still live with himself in the cold watches of the night?

An Iraqi translator who has earned commendations for risking his life repeatedly to save the lives of many American soldiers in combat has been denied a visa to live in the United States because of nonviolent actions he took to overthrow Saddam Hussein — at the same time the U.S. government was calling for regime change in Iraq.

Jasim, whose name is being withheld for his safety, has received strong support from the U.S. military, and the Department of Homeland Security approved his application for a visa. But the State Department has denied Jasim a visa because he was arrested in 1996 for actions against the Saddam dictatorship.

Foggy Bottom has never been known for a excess of common sense, but that has to be a new low.

Well, all I can say is the SNL parody of Governor Paterson is not that far off:

And now here in Binghamton we probably have the worst tragedy and senseless crime in the history of this state. When are we going to be able to curb the kind of violence that is so fraught and so rapid that we can’t even keep track of the incidents?

This latest shooting was bad, but the worse tragedy in the history of New York?

I live for the day I can leave this insane asylum. The unions have bankrupted the state, much like the Ebola virus killing its host. Layoff or retire, I’m gone. I can’t afford to live or die here!

It appears that the “car theft” excuse is just that, something Hillary’s State Department has seized on because Jasim dared organize the translators to oppose State’s plan to release all their personal information to the Iraqi government and actually went on 60 minutes to do it.

State to Jasim: Fuck your life, you embarrassed us.
