I like to see the Israelis carve out a relatively narrow, semi-permanent position atop the Philadelphi corridor, setting up whatever sort of systems they need to detect tunneling and the associated methods of thwarting same, drilling and disrupting (’sploding), flooding out, whatever they think necessary. You should read Media Matters. When people talked about the costs of Bush’s inauguration, they didn’t include security. When they talk about Obama’s they do. It makes it seem like the difference is much larger than it really is.
