Personally, I’m sick to death of all these holidays. The gym is closed … the internets are slow … husband and kids around all day with nothing to do …
Anyone have any interesting plans for today? I’m gonna make some red beans and rice, and serve a nice andouille sausage over it. That’s my whole plan for today. Making beans. lucky me.

I like holidays, especially early morning on Christmas or New Year’s. I can drive around and pretend I’m the Omega Man.

Just got an e-mail from Matt the Marine, he had an explosive New Year celebration involving a couple EOD guys, 70 gallons of diesel and many many explosives.

Oh my. I don’t think my bil had that much fun! Does Matt get to base much? Doug says he’ll be there for a few hours, then out in the field for a week, etc. I get very short/cryptic emails from him.
