Guardian moron Dan Kennedy falls for Bill Ayers’ softball interview on NPR and views him as a victim of McCain, swallowing hook, line and sinker the putrescent dreck that the radical jackass was allowed to purvey without contradiction by feckless, stupid, credulous, amoral and asinine Terry Gross.
David Thompson emailed this, explaining that he doesn’t have time properly to fisk it at the moment. Nor do I, having devoted many posts to the subject already, but here is David Freddoso conveying what first-hand witness Larry Grathwohl knows about the subject. “Guilty as hell, free as a bird,” by his own tawdry admission, Ayers lives off the kindness of assholes such as this.

Not as long as they’re lying, parsnip.
Sorry. It’s a thing with me.
Comment by parsnip on 11/26 @ 3:19 pm #
You hate anyone that lies, Dan?
You must be very lonely.
Comment by happyfeet on 11/26 @ 3:19 pm #
ohnoes. I are redundanted. But for real, writing a propagandy dirty socialist column based on a dirty socialist ferret-woman’s propagandy state-financed radio show is not just lazy it drops all pretense of anything other than a talking points echo chamber for people what prefer not to think too much about how little thinking they do.
Comment by Mossberg500 on 11/26 @ 3:27 pm #
What’s a few bombings by the peacefully courageous?
Comment by kelly on 11/26 @ 3:28 pm #
Sounds to me like Dan hates lying dirty hippy people, root vegetable.
What a coincidence…so do I.
Comment by parsnip on 11/26 @ 3:34 pm #
The 60s are over, Dan & Kelly.
The collective yawn from the electorate over Bill Ayers should have clued you in.
Comment by Dan Collins on 11/26 @ 3:35 pm #
PK, you are shit.
Comment by Sdferr on 11/26 @ 3:36 pm #
Interesting “progression”: Dan agrees to “never forgiving”, the liar transforms “never forgiving” to “hate” and Kelly attributes “hate” to Dan.
Comment by happyfeet on 11/26 @ 3:40 pm #
oh. I hate the miserable dirty socialist NPR ferret-woman what my taxes support. I would be tickled if misfortune befell her. That’s for real hate I think.
Comment by parsnip on 11/26 @ 3:43 pm #
NPR recieves far less government support than your average Wall Street company these days, happy.
Forcing GM and Citi to put on a telethon ain’t a bad idea.

Beside Samir Kuntar, I suppose I might find some sense of justice (finally) served were I to learn that Bill Ayers had assumed room-temp hf, whether misfortunate or otherwise.

Sdferr: “Interesting “progressionâ€Â: Dan agrees to “never forgivingâ€Â, the liar transforms “never forgiving†to “hate†and Kelly attributes “hate†to Dan.”
Shhhhhhhh! You’re trying to apply reason to the unreasonable.
Comment by Dan Collins on 11/26 @ 3:45 pm #
Oh, I see. Fairness Doctrine for auto manufacturers.
Screw them all, parsnip. Tell Baracky you want to screw them all, NPR, newspapers and auto manufacturers. Then we’ll be on the same page.
Comment by Jeff G. on 11/26 @ 3:47 pm #
The electorate yawned at Ayers. That means Ayers can’t be bad.
On the flipside, at least one state’s electorate voted Yes on Prop 8. So the electorate in California is evil.
And the gave their electoral college votes to Obama.
The inconsistency — all so very pretzely.
Comment by kelly on 11/26 @ 3:57 pm #
Well, in fairness, my intention was to make the point you essentially made, Sdferr. Inartfully, I’m afraid.
Thanks for the incisive history lesson, root boy. The “collective yawn” you think you saw was only from the in-the-tank media who wouldn’t even touch this. Thanks to their effort, the “electorate” barely knew. But I’ll give an assist to the excreble Maverick for not pushing harder on it and leaving up to Palin knowing the media would try to discredit her.
But it hardly surprises me that this socialist cocksucker, Ayers, is trying to airbrush his past. Hardly surprises me you fall for it, either.
Comment by parsnip on 11/26 @ 4:12 pm #
Airbrush his past, Kelly?
Right.
I always liked Menachem Begin even though I knew he’d been a real terrorist in his youth.
I think politics, not morality, is behind the radical right’s hatred of Bill Ayres.
I think most Americans see it that way, too.
Comment by Jim in KC on 11/26 @ 4:14 pm #
And not a moment too soon, either.
Comment by happyfeet on 11/26 @ 4:15 pm #

The hurt and confusion will soon pass.
Don’t worry, early signs indicate Obama is having second thoughts about implementing an islamo-socialist-fascist-terror regime.

He wants to rape the treasury for $700 billion on day one. That’s not a promising start. Dirty socialist rapist.

Comment by Mossberg500 on 11/26 @ 4:56 pm #
Hopefully, none of those Fox News facist will request an intrview, otherwise the courageous Mr. Ayers will have to bravely phone the police to deter a threatening microphone from recording his valiant voice.
Comment by kelly on 11/26 @ 4:59 pm #
“Most Americans” don’t even know who he is, nimrod, thanks to the media. FRT, I loathe this putrid pile of shit regardless of his politics. He’s an amoral snake and so’s his wife. Yeah, thank Gaia the ’60s are over. Too bad these knobs lived to see the present day. And too bad there jerks like you who fall for the moral equivalance ploy.

Are you saying Menachem Begin wasn’t a terrorist, kelly?
I think you’d be alone in that opinion.
It’s not moral equivalance, it’s Christian forgiveness.
Comment by kelly on 11/26 @ 5:35 pm #
You’ll note I didn’t say anything about Begin, root. It’s not relevant.
Comment by kelly on 11/26 @ 5:38 pm #
And, FTR, the nanosecond Ayers says anything about being the slightest bit repentent, I’ll then start thinking about forgiveness.
Or as Lyle Lovett wrote, “God does but I don’t, God will but I won’t, and that’s the difference between God and me.”
Comment by bill on 11/26 @ 5:41 pm #
Christian forgiveness requires atonement and remorse for offenses committed. Ayers is a glad bomber and wished he’d done more. He is and always will be a useless, treasonous rat and you’re a dumbass.

If you’re a real Christian you have to forgive Ayres.
Comment by JD on 11/26 @ 6:20 pm #
What is psychologically wrong with the retaded marmoset? It is not enough to get banned under monkeyboy, actus, alphie, and sniffles? There were likely other names along the way. No matter what name it chooses, its inane mendoucheous twatwaffliness shines through.
Comment by Jeffersonian on 11/26 @ 6:20 pm #
Forgiveness doesn’t mean he’s not a scumbag, Alphie. And he is, along with his sociopath virago of a missus.
Comment by Dan Collins on 11/26 @ 6:20 pm #
If you’re a real Christian, you forgive Ayers after he’s asked for forgiveness. Which Billy will never do.
Comment by JD on 11/26 @ 6:23 pm #
No, shitforbrains. We do not have to forgive. As Baracky says, that is above our paygrade. The big fellow upstairs will forgive, if he is asked, and if you are repentant. Us humans do not have to forgive.

I do believe their are radicals rightists here who would make that trade.

By far the most interesting confession of the day came from PE Obama in his brief question period this morning, when queried over the distinct lack of change from the past exhibited by his cabinet and staffing decisions, to the effect that “I am myself the change. Don’t be looking to those other people over there for change, look to me, can’t you see?”
Very cool, the dude finally says something plainly true, if empty.
Comment by urthshu on 11/26 @ 7:21 pm #
I’m not Christian, but even I know that parsnip’s twisting words here. The injunction is to pray for your enemies, and to hope they come to repentance. Even Jesus engaged in violence – the only thing we know the ‘carpenter’ ever made was a whip. Plus, he counseled folks to have a sword.
So, you know, just fk you, troll.

I guess refusal to dispense with the heritage of western civlization, four hundred years of Virginia law, descended from English common law, and notions of the natural rights of man, individualism, self-government, liberty, American exceptionalism, standing in the way of man’s perfected nature through the nutcase, evil ideas of a boil-covered Lamarkian who thinks the state can create a “new man”, isn’t as conservative as I had thought.

1/2 cup real maple syrup
1/3 cup apple cider
2 Tbs. butter
1/4 tsp. salt
2 lbs. parsnips, peeled and cut into 3×1/2-inch sticks
Preheat oven to 350F.
In small saucepan, bring maple syrup, cider, butter and salt to a boil over medium heat. Reduce heat to medium-low, and cook for 5 minutes.
Spread parsnips in shallow 9×13-inch ovenproof dish, and pour syrup mixture over them, tossing to coat well. Cover dish with aluminum foil.
Bake for 30 minutes. Increase oven temperature to 450F. Uncover dish, and bake parsnips for 30 minutes more, stirring occasionally, until tender and nicely glazed. Serve hot.
It’s the only way to be sure.
