After years of decrying “Christianists,” Excitable Andy writes of “The Christianism Of Obama.”
He has nothing critical to say about it, of course. Indeed, he has now created a new class of “moderate Christianists” heretofore unseen at the Daily Dish to which Barack Obama can appeal.
Sullivan also writes that “you could see this coming a while back.”
Funny, I seem to recall writing about it for months and having Sullivan disagree with me.
To see what is in front of one’s nose needs a constant struggle, does it not?
In the pantheon of Obama suck-ups, this ranks right up there with Keith Olberman’s defense of Obama’s FISA flip-flop. It may be worse. Then again, we have known for a while now that Andrew Sullivan is Keith Olbermann with an accent.

With these situations I always picture that guy from office space who just moves the report from one department to the other and ends up being laid off. Yelling: ‘What the hell is wrong with you people, why can’t you understand†– the nuance or something. Because this is, you know, so totally different….
