It Slipped My Mind [Dan Collins]

What, with all this campaign excitement, but . . . anyone heard anything about Rielle Hunter, lately? Will the story be revived in time for Edwards to play his important role at the Dem National Convention?

Maybe Jeff could do a little digging while he’s there.

    His wife sure is hanging in there, huh? They made it sound like such a big deal and not long for this worldy. But I’m starting to wonder if they were 100% completely honest.

    If things work out, she could have as long as ten years. It really is a pretty sucky prognosis, though. So I don’t begrudge her that.

    Maybe its because of my own imminent danger of expiration from lack of homeade granita.

    Oh. For real? I never read any actual medical details. Everything I read at the time was very vague. Maybe they did something on the tv. I hardly ever see that sort of thing.

    Jeez. I said I was sorry. It’s sad cause it’s hot today just like on that fateful day in Texas. The turtles are down the street cause I had maintenance on Friday but after it gets dark I’m gonna go get them and they will know that they are loved. This I vow. It’s kinda hard to dehydrate a turtle though.

    Last thing.

    Although I’d enjoyed granitas in Italy, I had done so almost mindlessly.

    I’m pretty sure I would be viscerally repulsed were I ever to find myself in the company of whoever wrote that sentence. I hope I would be anyway. Oh jeez. I checked back. It’s a guy what wrote that. A very NPR guy I guess.
