- Seriously. Not that I can divine Toby. From every standpoint you can look at, it plays as the alien versus the Terminator, as far as personalities.
- Besides Bills “fuck you O!” antics, she even intentionally stole a good deal of his victory thunder today, simply by dropping a hint in a conference call that she “[would] be open to a unifyinf ticket”. Thats got to piss you off if you’ve just won a primary and you want to revel in the press coverage and enjoy things. Most think it was intentional.

No way she gets on the ticket. During the General the Dem candidates will HAVE to go on FoxNews. They’re #1 by a huge margin and it’s a chance to speak to the biggest audience. They have to.
So Baracky and Hillary are sittting next to eachother behind the desk on FoxNews Sunday and Chris Wallace says, “Senator Clinton, let me ask you…in several speeches over the last four months you’ve stated, and I quote, ‘Senator Obama does not pass the Commander and Chief test.’ What has changed in just a few months, and why would you agree to be number two behind someone you’ve said is unqualified to be President?”
You’d hear the “cackle” and then…crickets. No friggin’ way she’s on the Dem ticket.

- Lamont. They wouldn’t ever be seen together. Thats a no-no in campaign strategy, and on the spot destroys plausible deniability, or arguments of “context”. What you describe would be a reporters dream, and thats why you will never see it.
- But even so, the list of potentially embarrassing questions would fill a good part of Bills library. Its going to be hard enough for Obama to field the sorts of miseries his own followers have set him up for in the fall, without adding even the potential of what you’re bringing up.

Let me point out that the Hil-meister has said she will campaign for the Dem candidate whoever it is. Would she not be asked the same questions in that case? I think Baracky will pay off her campaign debts under the condition that she stays out of it entirely. Not that I think Shrillary can actually shut her yap, but Obama can still dream.

- Obama, in my view kelly, is running an “Indianna Jones” sort of campaign. Hes either going to find a way to quiet the HillBeast, garner a fairly optimistic number of crossovers, and a few other home runs he’ll need to hit, or hes going to fall flat on his ass and fade from the national scene, same as Kerry, but with at least some flare and style.
- I don’t believe he’ll make it. Too many miracles demanded in a row, and too many giant rocks in the closet. So if she does run, it won’t be against anyone we’re talking about now, because McCain will retire.

BBH: I hear you but, even if it was just Hillary that Wallace was talking to…there’s video of all the shit she’s said and Fox would show it. No “context” or “plausible deniabiltiy” about it. Plus she’d have to answer for calling him “naive” on foreign policy (for wanting to talk to the thugs) during a Dem debate.

Democratic leadership and pundits are suggesting that an Obama/Clinton ticket might be bad for Obama, he can do better. We’ll see how this turns out. Personally I’d see that ticket to combine the baggage both bring, which isn’t exactly going to lift Obama’s chances.

Even assuming Obama is going to scrap his plan and let Hillary get all the credit, do you really think Hillary would give up a guaranteed Senate Seat to serve at Obama’s whim? On the off chance that she can somehow promote a plan that got shoved up her ass as first lady?

Teh Narrative currently running is something like this: O wins. Hillary! gracefully acknowledges fate, sucks it up, smiles/hugs all around. On to victory in November!
Niggling little details:
1. If Obama owns the field… why is it incumbent for him to offer Clinton anything?
2. No delegate votes have been cast. There’s more than enough tactical fog concerning credentialing drifting against the media wind to make any questions from the floor… troublesome, to say the least.
3. Hillary hasn’t even pretended to concede. She’s announced a bank holiday for the troops.
4. Further, she’s made sure that everybody understands how the primary results on the Dem side stack up on a national level.
In war or politics, the conflict does not end until one side will not or cannot toe the mark.
The votes aren’t counted yet. Obama has to be God for the next couple of months. Even with the media attached to him at groin level, that’s a tough order In These Modern Times.
It ain’t over till Denver.

It is also important to remember that for all Hillary’s talk about a united front, if Obama wins the nomination it is in her interest for him to lose the election. That would put her in a much better position in ‘12, and you can bet your ass she is thinking about that.

I heard Barack Obama a few days ago, and Michigan is Bush’s fault. If Obama wins, she will become a succesful Governor after only 6 years. Kind makes me teary, just thinking about it.
I don’t know … Jenny was really pulling for Hillary. I think O may leave her cheese in the wind.
Even Detroit’s mayor didn’t endorse O.
