Sure. He’s saying that it can’t simply be that Jeremiah Wright believes this stuff and has an ego so massive it has its own gravity well; no, evil white persons must be involved, paying off one to bring the black man down and keep him down.
In other words – Spike Lee’s a truther. But you already knew that.

If any conspiracy regarding Jeremiah Wright is afoot, I’d think it’d be the contrapositive of Spike’s, i.e. Obama’s supporters paying Wright to keep his trap shut for some good long time into the future.

Why must everything that displeases the Black Community be a conspiracy? First AIDS, levees, Crack, Incarceration… The only conspiracy here is that the media keeps repeating how intelligent Rev Wright is. I always thought a goodly portion/measure of intelligence was the ability to discern fact from fiction. What is going on in the larger black community just doesn’t make any sense to me. I can’t even comprehend it most of the time. Really, maybe a lot of this stuff is “a black thing, you wouldn’t understand”… because when I begin to understand it, I just kind of shake my head.

Because of the victimhood. If it were just a matter of “shit happens”, then it could be taken in stride, or solutions to problems could be sought and employed in the same manner that the rest of society addresses them. But when it’s a conspiracy to keep a brother down, then the proper response is OUTRAGE!!! and powerlessness, victimhood and resentment of the oppressor are the order of the day. And there’s money in that.

I occasionally fall into teh victimhood when it comes to anti-Catholic bigotry… but I don’t think I go completely off the rails about conspiracies. so, even when I look at it honestly from that angle, I just shake my head. Do I have a different, less-virulent strain of the victimhood thing?

Yup. You’re talking about people trash talking Catholics, and Catholics have long let that stuff roll off them. But the Man has his jackboot on the black man’s neck, which is the cause of all things ranging from unpleasant to awful, and there’s absolutely nothing they can do about it, save OUTRAGE!!! What we really need is access to the same ToTD (Truth of The Day) source that the lefty bloggers are using. I’m sure there is an RSS feed with the a compacted ToTD delivered to those in the know. It must be compact because G-d knows they can’t seem to read more than one paragraph without complaining about the length of the piece. I imagine is uses simple words as well, for similar reasons.

Boy that’s as crazy as the idea that the Federal Government blew up the levies (although Robert Ferrigno suggests, it would be perfectly in the
jihadist interests to have done so; considering the case of the US born
Saudi Gitmo detainee; Yasir Hamdi. Or the the idea, that a high powered fixer would be buying a condo for Bin Laden’s nephew, at the opening to Inside Man. Or that an American banker would not only trade with the Nazis; but keep the proof in his own bank.
