Founder of HuffingtonPost.com, Arianna Huffington, has a new book on the way that excoriates the media, Bob Woodward and Tim Russert in particular.
Knopf will publish Right Is Wrong: How the Lunatic Fringe Hijacked America, Shredded the Constitution, and Made Us All Less Safe April 29. Huffington, whose previous books include On Becoming Fearless, Pigs at the Trough and Maria Callas, particularly targets Bob Woodward of the Washington Post and Tim Russert, moderator of Meet the Press, as moderators of the Republican agenda, according to a Knopf release.

I think we should have a pool on Arianna’s next political flip-flop. Both the date and the new orientation could be included… will she become a feudalist? A Shining Path Maoist? A Molly Maguire? A Whig?

Boy, I hope this trend toward megagargantuansized book titles, a la long-winded dissertation titles, keeps on! Maybe then I can publish my diss as a book and people won’t guffaw at my ridiculously overextended title then (hey, I had to get Queer Theory, Marxist theory, Deconstruction, Feminist Theory, blah blah blah into the title so’s my profs would deign to read the thing in the first place).
