Zest Of Goldstein: Tom Cruise & Scientology

Nick Denton’s unexpectedly heroic stance against the litigious Church of Scientology, hosting a Tom Cruise-based indoctrination video, then responding to the inevitable copyright infringement notice with four more clips – including the Freedom Medal Award Ceremony – inspired me to recall former teen idol Leif Garrett’s take on a related controversy.

Karl – Consider yourself fortunate. It is best that a group of complete loonwaffles like that do not know your name. If you think those Joooooos are powerful, just you wait to see how far the tentacles of Scientology can reach.
