      I’m mystified that Wordpress hasn’t found some way to incorporate such a setting; ExpressionEngine has it built-in, and as I recall Movable Type had either a setting or a plug-in.

      Anybody know if Blogger has a comment-closing setting (I run a couple of club blogs out of Blogger but they don’t allow comments)?

      not exactly comment spam, but I noticed somebody commented on the Glenn Beck post from last week earlier tonight. That particular comment thread scares me, it’s like an alternate universe pw, and it just keeps going. How long til it takes over the rest of pw? or is that where Jeff is?
