Leftist moonbat James J. Lee: What you won’t see in the Main Stream Media [Darleen Click]
The gunman who took hostages earlier today at The Discovery Channel building in Maryland is dead.
SILVER SPRING, Md. – A man who railed against the Discovery Channel’s environmental programming for years burst into the company’s headquarters with at least one explosive device strapped to his body Wednesday and took three people hostage at gunpoint before police shot him to death, officials said.
Interesting opening paragraph by the Associated Press — railed against the Discovery Channel’s environmental programming. It isn’t until paragraph 12 one realizes he is protesting the environmental programming for not being strong enough.
Focus must be given on how people can live WITHOUT giving birth to more filthy
human children since those new additions continue pollution and are pollution. [...]
All programs on Discovery Health-TLC must stop encouraging the birth of any more parasitic human
infants and the false heroics behind those actions. In those programs’ places, programs encouraging
human sterilization and infertility must be pushed. All former pro-birth programs must now push in the
direction of stopping human birth, not encouraging it. [...]
Civilization must be exposed for the filth it is. That, and all its disgusting religious-cultural roots and
greed. Broadcast this message until the pollution in the planet is reversed and the human population
goes down! This is your obligation. [...]
Develop shows that mention the Malthusian sciences about how food production leads to the
overpopulation of the Human race. Talk about Evolution. Talk about Malthus and Darwin until it sinks
into the stupid people’s brains until they get it!! [...]
Develop shows that will correct and dismantle the dangerous US world economy. Find solutions for
their disasterous Ponzi-Casino economy before they take the world to another nuclear war.
Now, what won’t you see from the MSM about James Jay Lee? You won’t see Katie Couric worrying about Lee’s possible ties to Moveon or SEIU or ACORN. You won’t see Frank Rich writing about how MSNBC and Leftwing Radio have produced so much fear and anxiety that Lee is their fault. You won’t see Time and Newsweek with cover stories about angry Social Enviros and the way they poison polite political discourse. You won’t see Chris Matthews pontificating on how criminally stupid it is to be anti-capitalist. You won’t see Keith Olbermann putting Lee on of his “Worst Person in the World” list. You won’t see Paul Krugman writing that Lee’s demands are “flim-flam” and just more of the same of what we’ve always heard from the Left. You won’t see anyone on Huffington Post asserting that Lee’s home bookshelf contained copies of Paul Ehrlich’s The Population Bomb or Howard Zinn’s The People’s history of the United States or audios of the speeches of Hugo Chavez or a Che t-shirt hanging in the closet.
Yessireebob. Lee will be summarily dismissed as a lone whacko, covered for about twelve hours and summarily dropped down the old memory hole.

Second Act (The 72)
After learning of UCSD Prof. Dominguez’ wonderful new tool for helping migrants cross the border, that silly, meaningless, so-yesterday-in-the-ipad-age border, the 72 migrants set north. The innocent’s travels are arduous; they eventually end up in the hands of the villains of this collaboration, the Zetas drug cartel. They snatch our 72 migrants, and demand ransom. Tension mounts, and our 72 Innocents come to believe that all is lost – but will our heroes ride to their rescue? Despair sets in among the 72, but one of them rises, and in a proud revolutionary voice reminds his comrades, “Think about how difficult it must have been for UCSD Prof. Dominguez to build this wonderful tool that will lead us to our rightful land, to live the Aztlan dream! We must go forward: for Dominguez and the People!”. With a renewed revolutionary determination, the 72 escape and head north.
This Labor Day will be particularly difficult for President Obama’s spinners, they now own this economy, their economic stimulus package and various social engineering attempts have been implemented, and the jobless rate is at 9.5 percent, a far cry from the 8 percent ceiling they forecasted if the stimulus was passed. The blame Bush card has been maxed out.
Given this sensitivity, the Administration will be trying to eke out any good news from the latest report. An example of this type of spin showed up last month when President Obama called July’s increase of private sector payroll employment by 71,000, “a good sign” for future growth. Of course, this “good sign” fell far short of the 100,000 jobs a month that the economy needs to add just to keep up with population growth. So, the “good sign” actually fell 29,000 jobs short of the break-even point to keep the jobless rate stable.
Expect the Administration to be running some key data through the spin cycle this Labor Day weekend. When BLS representatives meet with Secretary Hilda Solis and her team at 8 a.m., they will first look at the top-line number — the unemployment rate. This measures what percentage of those who are actively seeking jobs can’t find one. This rate has been 9.4 percent or higher for the past year, and any movement downward from the current 9.5 percent will be hailed triumphantly by the Administration regardless of the reason.
Many analysts were initially surprised when the rate dropped from 9.9 percent in April 2010 to 9.5 percent in June 2010, in spite of 336,000 fewer people being employed during this two month period. The drop occurred because almost a million people left the workforce during those two months as the civilian labor force dropped from 154,715,000 to 153,741,000. In this two month period alone, the labor participation rate in our nation dropped a full half a percent from 65.2 percent to 64.7 percent. So, the drop in the unemployment rate had nothing to do with the strength of the economy, and in fact was more of a reflection of its overall weakness as almost a million people chose to leave the labor market.
Another particularly troublesome group of people who will be counted by BLS are those who are known as “discouraged workers.” BLS defines discouraged workers as those people who are not currently looking for work because they don’t believe there are any jobs available to them. In July, there were 1.2 million discouraged workers up by almost 400,000 people from one year before. These discouraged workers essentially are providing a giant vote of no confidence to the economy and the Administration’s attempts to bolster it. If this group of people continues to increase, Secretary Solis might find herself to be the only Administration spokesperson available for media interviews on Labor Day, as everyone else will be in hiding.
Going into hiding isn’t really the problem. The problem is, they don’t stay hidden — which is how we wind up with the kind of legislation that cripples economies in the first place.
Here’s a question: if our tax money can be used to prosecute Roger Clemens for allegedly lying to Congress, do the rest of us have standing for a great big counter suit, given how many times Congress has lied to us?
I mean, we could probably get a lot fixed in this country if we could just put Congress in the clink for 30 or so years…
The video is a little hard to follow, but about 1:28 we are treated to watching a twenty-something white dude attempt to lecture a melanin-enriched man about how the melanin-enriched man has no business being Christian. He should, states person of pallor, be a Muslim because Christianity is a European religion and was forced on him by his slavemasters.
Ok, we had to pass the bill to find out what was in it … [Darleen Click]
… but, really, please vote for us so we can fix it. Trust us!
Facing a nationwide backlash, Democratic congressional candidates have a new message for voters: We know you don’t like ObamaCare, so we’ll fix it.
This was the line offered by Democrat Mark Critz, who won a special election in Pennsylvania’s 12th congressional district after expressing opposition to the law and promising to mend it—but not to repeal it. As a doctor I know something about unexpected recoveries, and this latest attempt to rescue ObamaCare from repeal needs to be taken seriously.
For Democrats who voted for ObamaCare, this tactic is an escape route, a chance to distance themselves from the president with a vague promise to fix health-care reform in the next Congress.
Joe Miller, who has stated support for the complete repeal of ObamaCare has just won the AK primary over incumbent Lisa Murkowski. Not only should Dems worry, but squishy Republicans, too.
Where were the cries of SEXISM!!1!!1! when the government goodies were handed out in the first place?
LONDON – As Britain prepares for the deepest budget cuts in generations to tackle a crippling mound of public debt, the government is facing a pressing legal question: Is its austerity plan sexist? [...]
Women, recent studies here show, are far more dependent on the state than men. Women are thus set to bear a disproportionate amount of the pain, prompting a legal challenge that could scuttle the government’s fiscal crusade and raise fairness questions over deficit-cutting campaigns underway from Greece to Spain, and in the United States when it eventually moves to curb spending.
One major target in Britain, for instance, is the bloated public sector, with as many as 600,000 government jobs – or one in 10 – potentially on the chopping block. But 65 percent of state employees are women, including single mothers in part-time job programs, setting them up to suffer more than men.
Raise fairness questions? I got your fairness questions right here — who the hell said you get to raid your neighbor’s earnings and be absolved of all responsibilities when the going gets tough because you are concave rather than convex?
Hmmmm…. make men and fathers irrelevant, destroy families, and make Big Government the partner of choice of women.
