Religion of Peace™ JV Team beheads American photojournalist [Darleen Click]

RIP James Foley

James Foley, an American journalist who went missing in Syria more than a year ago, has reportedly been executed by the Islamic State, a militant group formerly known as ISIS.

A YouTube video and photos purportedly of Foley emerged on Tuesday. The video — entitled “A Message to #America (from the #IslamicState)” — identified a man on his knees as “James Wright Foley,” and showed his beheading.

“This is James Wright Foley, an American citizen of your country,” an Islamic State militant says in the video, which has since been removed by YouTube. “As a government, you have been at the forefront of the aggression towards the Islamic State. You have plotted against us and have gone far out of your way to find reasons to interfere in our affairs. Today, your military air force is attacking us daily in Iraq, your strikes have caused casualties among Muslims.”

The video also shows another man on his knees who is identified as American journalist Steven Sotloff. The Islamic State member says that Sotloff’s future “depends” on President Obama’s “next decision.” Sotloff, a freelance journalist, went missing in Syria in August 2013.

A post on the “Free James Foley” Facebook page addressed the reports on Tuesday, saying, “We know that many of you are looking for confirmation or answers. Please be patient until we all have more information, and keep the Foleys in your thoughts and prayers.”

Geez, Barry, how’s that inclusive politics of no victor/no vanquished workin’ for ya?

So. Will Hillary Clinton’s “Bill and I are po’ folk, too!” schtick bamboozle in 2016?

Not if local reporters like this one keep speaking Truth to cronyism and neo-aristocratic indulgences.

Sorry, but the “let’s hide Barack away” strategy ain’t gonna work with Hillary. At least, I hope not. Of course, I suppose that depends on who the GOP nominates.

Because I get the feeling, say, McCain would indeed volunteer to hold her crown for her.

“NYT Editoral Board: The Indictment Against Rick Perry ‘Appears’ to be ‘Overzealous’”

That’s progressive-speak for “I think the comrades in Austin may have overstepped this time.”

After the Walker recall attempt, the IRS’s targeting of conservative groups, and now the clearly political and demonstrably legally phony “indictment” of a sitting governor, the American people — especially those who voted for Obama twice — are perhaps ready to wake up to the fact that “hope and change” carries with it the implicit subtext, “which we’ll be in charge of defining; and if you happen to disagree with any of the moves we make, well, then we have ways of dealing with dead-enders like you, mere bumps in the road to Utopia.”

And maybe, if they’re smart, this has the erstwhile dullards scared shitless.

BREAKING: Libs as willing as GOP establicans to throw their own under the bus?

Well, yes and no. With expedience being the key factor.

Obama, the once charismatic black man who could parrot academic argot, filibuster substantive questions, subsist in an incurious media environment on banal blandishments and bumpersticker policy, and wore such a nice crease in his pants, is on the outs. But don’t be fooled: that’s only because he is literally on the outs in a couple years, and his obvious flaws (which the real leftists know were actually accomplishments, given the goal of fundamental transformation) need to be “acknowledged” so that they can be differentiated from his heir apparent, Hillary Clinton.

– Who we all know is every bit the radical Marxist sympathizer Obama is, and will run as a centrist trying to double up on the “historic” sales pitch to the nation. Which will probably work, if the GOP runs Bush, Romney, or Christie. God save our souls.

Anyway, I just thought I’d cue you in. Because while it’s perhaps fun to watch liberals like Jimmy Fallon pretend to come around to what has been painfully obvious to Americans for some time now, we have to keep in mind that he has an agenda in doing so. And it isn’t just about being funny.

It’s about preparing the ground for the next phase of the progressive coup.

Will we be manipulated again? And by “we,” I mean “the same idiots who gave us two terms of the current Marxist simp”…?

Harry Reid finds that he may not be eaten last, after all!

Just do the Lightbringer’s bidding. And shut up.

The man has to work on his wedge.

Tell me, Harry. How does it feel knowing you’ve been nothing but the Imperial court’s primary concubine for the last 5 years? Still telling yourself your ass hurts constantly from hemorrhoids?

“Police Accused MSNBC of ‘Endangering Lives’ in Ferguson”

Why does the po-po hate the freedom of the press to inflame an already tense situation, drive a local story national without having any facts to work with, then turn it into a bit of overdramatic, narcissistic, self-interested naval gazing? I mean, why does The Man want to stop the kinds of race wars that make for such good 24/7 TV?

It started when the pigs demonized Manson and his family and turned them into criminals rather than asking what root causes led to such behaviors. Like, Eisenhower’s chickens coming home to roost! Because let’s face it, Helter Skelter — Manson’s desire to start these precise kinds of race wars — would have made for awesome ratings! And who can get enough of a dead former beauty queen?

Thankfully, Sharpton is down there to make sure the piggy piggy piggies don’t quell a nice racial wilding. For freedom! And free TVs!

Obama’s malignant neglect: ISIS, the US, and you

Darleen did a fine job of encapsulating Obama’s remarks on Ferguson — bromides, moral relativism, platitudes so canned they’d make diced tuna envious — but what I want to note here is that, in his persistence in letting ISIS know that the US will not be using any serious military force to take them out, Obama is signaling to absolute barbarians that they have relative free reign to overrun Iraq and the Kurds, slaughtering our one-time allies with impunity.

Typical of this pompous faculty-lounge Marxist, Obama is framing the buggering of our allies as a kind of “tough love” — and yet we hear from his own Secretary of State (a lying traitor) and his dull Secretary of Defense (an anti-Semitic, impotent clown) that ISIS is a real threat to the US and its interests. Not exactly the kinds of gentlemen one would expect normally to appear to shit themselves at the notion of non-US action.

Which means that Obama is, in effect, turning over the national security of the US to the beleaguered Iraqis and the brave but bulletless Kurds, charging them with “stepping up” to quell the most ruthless, subhuman slime to bubble up to the earth’s surface since Pol Pot — barbarous, single-minded thugs longing for the “peace” that comes from the total subjugation to their ideology of everyone still wearing a head, and whom our own high government officials have determined are a bona fide danger to Americans and their interests.

This man is not just an enabler. He’s either a coward or he’s complicit. There’s no other way to read the signals he sends.

The left has perpetrated a coup. We have open borders, the rise of both anti-Semitism, anti-Americanism, and a renewed Caliphate movement, and Obama golfs Martha’s Vineyard and refuses to take the kind of military action that could absolutely devastate ISIS, which is taking over lands, governments, governmental facilities, etc. — all for the purposes of killing those who deny their authority or subjugating those who do not.

Will no Democrat step up and say, publicly, that it’s time to turn ISIS into rubble, without remorse, without apology, and without fear of appearances?

As others have intimated, these zealots want to live in the stone age. So let’s provide the rubble. Failure to do so is a failure to act in our own interests — as acknowledged even by those in Obama’s own cabinet.

Perhaps Valerie Jarrett needs to be restrained and stuck in a closet somewhere until we can find a new puppeteer that will convince Obama it’s in his own interests politically not to look like such an absolute pussy unwilling to protect American lives and interests.

Obama to pontificate about Ferguson … again … [Darleen Click]

Any time now ….

… is it too early for a drinking game??

Here we go … Obama has the same weird cadence to his voice that he believes projects seriousness but oozes insincerity.

Now trying to excuse his refusal to do anything about ISIS “Kurds and Iraqi’s capable of handling ISIS”

“We are aware the work is not yet done.”

“The Iraqi people need to reject ISIS and unite.”

“I’ve spoken with Gov Nixon and AG Holder.”

“Holder to travel to Ferguson on Wednesday.”

“Foster relations between stakeholders in Ferguson.”

Obama wagging finger at looters and then saying “excessive force” is never justified.

“Gulf of mistrust”

“My initiative of My Brother’s Keeper to go forward.”
Now taking “a few” questions:

Q. Agree with sending in National Guard?
A. Blah blah blah Police different than military … talk about 9/11 … “it’s useful for us to review grant dollars” … Remember National Guard is under the Governor, but I told Nixon to use it in a limited way, and I’ll be watching.

Q. Iraq?
A. We are not going to put soldiers back in Iraq. I’m CinC and Iraq has to take care of Iraq. My goal is that we have an viable partner so Iraq has to be more inclusive. Just because we did some airstrikes Iraq cannot think they cannot go forward to create a credible, united government.
blah blah blah me me me blah blah blah

“Here, it’s all politics. A few people … have gotten together to show that only people with power can hold events in this city.” [Darleen Click]

Los Angeles and the “Latino” turf wars.

The mariachi of Boyle Heights mostly live by a golden rule: No event is a bad event.

They play for funerals and quinceañeras, foreclosures and sex change celebrations.

But Sunday’s Mariachi 5K — where some runners undoubtedly will show up in mariachi garb, big sombreros and colorful serapes — is another matter.

Neighbors initially hoped that the run, which is slated to begin and end at historic Mariachi Plaza, could serve to promote Boyle Heights and bring in new business. But now the organizer is facing a backlash from those who think the theme makes a mockery of mariachi. Opponents are threatening to shut down the race. [...]

Promoter Carlos Gaspar says the trouble he’s facing has little do with his theme.

The former middle school teacher, who lives in Downey, has organized similar races (called Tacos and Beer) in Long Beach. Those events, he said, went smoothly and drew as many as 2,000 runners.

“Here, it’s all politics,” Gaspar said. “A few people … have gotten together to show that only people with power can hold events in this city.” [...]

“I’m from Jalisco, where mariachi come from,” Gaspar said. “I checked with my mom and my relatives. They all thought the theme was a good idea.”

So what, Gaspar, some members of La Raza are more equal than others.

Check your non-Boyle Heights privilege, puta.
